I am looking too purchase a new light for my 5x5, I was looking at spiderfarmer and saw the vs4000 for around 200 less with comparable hardware and LEDs. The VS is lacking the daisy chain feature. Am I missing anything else that makes the vs4000 inferior?

Thanks!

Pretty sure its the same light, made in the same factory, by the same workers using the same parts. Only difference is the logo and the seller. Check out made in china .com. You can order them wholesale with your own logo.

I’m pretty sure it’s missing the dimmer switch as well. I honestly couldn’t do without that feature.

Says it has a dimmer switch included. SF is 450w vs is 400w. So the extra $200 buy you 50w

Seems like the quantum boards are already obsolete. The factories are all doing light bar style now.

I think the sf4000 is light bars and not a board. The bars make more sense as with less lights it covers a wider area. I think I’m going to get the sf4000. I was thinking about trying a 800w hps but I really don’t need that kinda heat in my tent. When I use to use a 1000w hps I got way bigger yields compared to the sf1000 I’m using right now, unless I’m doing something wrong and I should get the same yields with my led.
