We got a clone on 4/20. We transplanted it in soil.... We had messed up the soil by not putting alot of soil. When we went to put more soil.. Our clone had no roots. Like nothing. Wt does that mean?
Could be many things but basically it was deprived of conditions needed for growth... I would assume oxygen from overwatering as a blind shot in the dark.

Have some pictures and description of environment, media etc and everything you had tried?

When we tested the ppm of the run off.. It was way to high.. 2000+. We manage to flush it. Now its at 247. We stopped flushing. Environment is good. We are afraid that it is a goner. But we will upload pics tomorrow.

First pic underwatering and to much light.

The other overwatering and to much light.

Fill the containers to the top or you are going to have a large saturation zone that makes it very difficult not to over water. Small plants are easier in a taller narrower pot.

Okay most def will. Thanks a lot for the help
No problem have a read here... this may help you understand why I say fill the containers to the top and narrower will be better for younger plants.

Also give you an idea of how and why plants get overwatered. Of you have any questions on it just ask

When we have a clone, that's usually considered a cutting that has roots already. Usually clones are started in a small amount of media (Rockwool, rapid rooter plugs, or with aerocloners or DWC, etc)
If these were just cuttings, (clipped off a plant and stuck in the dirt), I think you're gonna have a hard time getting them rooted in your setup. If the moisture in the soil wasn't perfect, the end of the cutting will dry up and basically seal off, and then it's a lot harder to get them to root.
Did your "clones" come to you with roots showing through whatever they were grown in, or did you just get a cutting and stick it in the dirt?

Either way, keep the soil moist and don't tug on it to see if it's rooted. Just keep watering, with no nutes and they may take.
