Week 8 and slowly filling out. Tempted to grab a dehumidifier here soon, meaning a nice one that can control the night time schedule. It stays a little to high to my liking and I'm wondering if that's slowing down the flowering time. Could be just the normal flowering time of this perticular phenotype. And them dehumidifiers are not cheap. Breaking my head to grab one or not right now. With just two weeks to go... Would it be worth the expense. And yeah I'd still have it for future grows too... Decisions decision... 😐
Anyways saw it on Russ Brandons Instagram on what he uses for shipping or collecting seeds. Coin collector capsules. Handy tool.

We tried this little unit last night.. didn't do much, lucky I'm on Amazon Prime, sending it back and grabbing something a little larger that attaches directly to the tent via air vent hose. Infinity didn't have anything so I'm gonna try what Spider Farmer has to offer. Sold on Amazon the same. If it doesn't work, easy return. Fuck it.

I use a very large one if I use one, found the smaller ones really don’t do jack, I do have a small one I put in tide a 2x4 fry space that dosent make much eject (moves air more than anything but will take out 2-3 cups over a day or 2

But I prefer changing lung room environment vs tent, much easier to control

You're right, they are expensive. I bought 2 small cheap ones from Amazon but it doesn't do much.

I don't know why a/c infinity doesn't make one. I'm gonna check out the spiderfarmer though. Summers are the worst. Gets too humid here.

I bit the bullet and ordered one last night. Doesn't get here til the end of the week. My main concern is if it can keep its settings if on a timer. I only need it to run during the lights of schedule. I'd hate to be a slave to this thing staying up to 11 pm just to turn it on. 😐 I sent @SpiderFarmerLED an email inquiring about it but they don't seem to understand my quiry. My daytime VPD is on point. It's my lights out schedule where the VPD is way off. I know some growers don't pay any mind to VPD but I'm really anal about it and it's driving me nuts that I can't control the lights out schedule. 😒

Do you have the aci controller? They have an outlet thing that can control a different manufacturer. But it will only turn on and off, not different speeds.

I'm trying to keep my vpd in check. It's sometimes hard to do but I keep it close.

We're playing with reduced lighting strategy. Maybe trick the plant in thinking it's late fall... something like that.

Oh man... think I responded to this on the wrong thread somewhere.. 😂 I do have the Infinity controller, but like using these Kasa Smart Plugs that I grabbed from Amazon. I have my lighting plugged into those and they've worked like a charm all winter season. I plan on using one for the Spider Farmer dehumidifier. Just getting a lot mixed reviews on the unit. Some are saying it's the cat's meow, and others are calling it a piece of shit. I'm on Amazon Prime so returns are easy, just drop it off at a nearby Whole Foods store. no packaging needed. But I'm hoping it works as described. My Plan B is to just drop in a 6 inch fan to replace the 4inch. (Probably should have been my Plan A to save some monies) 😏

Alright.. last word on the Spider Farmer Dehumidifier...
this little unit DOES THE JOB. It takes air from outside the tent and blows in dry air, automatically shuts off when your set parameters are met inside the tent. (Via its own sensor similar to what Infinity offers). And for my uses no 5 bucket needed to capture water from a drain hose. The included drip tray hardly fills with water, not yet anyway. Lung room isn't that high in humidity anyway, just inside the tent. Liking how this can sit outside the tent and do it's magic without taking any floor space inside the tent. We set it to 50% for now. Only a few nit picks on this unit, it's not perfect and these are only minor complaints. The wheels do not lock, this would have been nice if they did. I had to tape the wheels down to keep the unit from moving around from where I have it sitting. The other (could be a deal breaker for some) is the included hose doesn't seem to block out light as good as other hoses available. The hose included is kinda cheap and thin. Might be replacing it later on. (probably will be replacing it sooner than later). (6 inch hose) Other than that this thing works, wife even noticed the lung room feeling fresher and almost wants one for the bedroom...until I told her what I paid for it...🤣 All in all I'm somewhat satisfied with the Spider Farmer Dehumidifier. Keeping it.

Edit: the unit uses a proprietary hose size that only fits the included attachment. So hose replacement is a no go. I tried contacting Spider Farmer about it but it seems like they don't understand grow talk and what light leaks mean to growers. 😒 Dumb fucks. Anyways I'm gonna do a Mexican and just wrap the hose with aluminum foil.
