Get yourself a proper feminized seed or a good cutling, after this kahuna you dont wanna downgrade to buds with seeds and reduced growth on buds due to self polination. It could not happen, but it could happen, and youre relying on only 1 plant.
Once the buds are pollinated they focus more on creating seeds than fattening. And even if they keep fattening a bit, there's seeds inside so its even less bud.
All true, all true. However, when my best strain ever - Inzane ina Membrane - hermied, it *still* produced the most dreamy psychedelic high. Since I can't find anymore from a seed bank, I reckon one day I'll plant some of these Inzane seeds anyway. Believe me, it was worth the minor hassle of shaking out the seeds!

Agree, although I've yet to try these (Nebulis Kush). Father's Day around the corner. 😁 I don't blaze every day (not yet, retirement around the corner 🥳) I agree because my best "neighbor" only wants and specifically requests the Kush, seeds and all ...🤣 Hey, whatever floats his boat.
Im actually surprised the two that I planted outside (seedlings from the hermied Kush) are still alive (108 degrees outside). We might have something here. Im just waiting for them to grab "root" before reporting on them again.

And it appears we got a runt. 😒 Not as vigor as I'd like it to be. Dam feminized seeds. We'll give her a few days to recover, might get chopped.

Nematodes just arrived.. mixed the packet into a gal of water and poured. That easy. Hope they survived the trip. (Hotter than Hades outside)

Thanks mate .. I did a quick read (of what you posted) and it appears that there's the good batch of nematodes and the bad. Off the top of my head I'm almost sure that worms feed off the bad ones, if that's a problem in your soil.
What I got in the mail is of the healthy type.

The second link (you shared )recommended them

  • Beneficial Nematodes: Introduce predatory nematodes, such as Steinernema feltiae or Heterorhabditis bacteriophora, which can infect and kill plant-parasitic nematodes.

I am still reading it. I posted those based on a cannabis forum showing nematodes causing a problem. Got side tracked with the nih one. It’s interesting. Harmed certain cultivars and on others not much impact. They’re referencing studies and species.

Thanks for sharing. I'll check them all out this evening after work. Much appreciated. Great lookout!. 💯

I hate when they start getting weird. Usually happens with old seeds, was it stored in the fridge or just around the house? For how long? I dont have much hopes for plants that start looking like that, even if they can finish they usually just delay my next grow and the yield is much worse than the others. I guess its still worth to see if the new growth comes okay, in which case she might be okay and not the R word. Could have been just a little bit of stress at the start, hopefully she is okay.

Agree 100% I'm hoping it's just a bad start. 🤞

I dropped another seed just now, if that sprouts with twice the energy of this current grow then we'll cull the runt, I do have regular (stronger genetic) seeds of the Bruce Banner but went with these lesser S1 feminized (thought I was gonna save some time not sexing regulars). S1 are females who were self pollinated. Sounds like hermied seeds to me.. 😂 But this is what the net says about it...

Female cannabis plants can produce S1 cannabis seeds through a process known as ‘selfing’. Usually this involves taking a cutting/clone from the female mother plant and turning it into a male by a process known as ‘reversion’.

This can be done by spraying the female with a chemical such as Silver Thiosulphate. The stress of this causes the female to become a male plant. Pollen is then collected from this plant and used to pollinate the original mother plant. This allows the original female to effectively be ‘self-pollinated’ or ‘selfed’. The cannabis seeds are known as S1 seeds and have the added stability benefit of using the ‘same’ genetics from the male and female.

You know.. after reading that three times, now I'm tempted to just dump them seeds in the trash and break out the regulars.. 😂😂

Decisions...decisions... 😣

Quick update on the Spider Farmer Dehumidifier... The thing is a BEAST. We're having an odd higher than usual humidity in the lung room, and we set the unit up to see "what it can do" in a 10x10 room. Fucker just hums and handles it in spades. We have it running (unattached from the tent) just there in the room during the lights out cycle to keep the room at 50% for now. So far giving this unit two thumbs up.
