Where the f are you all ?!
Death Valley ? Im Minnesota.
Southern California... 😂 It's a shit hole right now. Unless your by the beaches. I'm centered at the Coachella Valley. Near Salton Sea side than Palm Springs, or maybe between them both.

Anyways, with the heat wave hitting most of the southern areas of the USA, we're really getting slammed with 10 degrees hotter than normal. Palm Springs hit 124 last week.

I knew you had to be close to death valley with them temps. I was in death valley for 2 weeks when I was in the military. I knew there was only one place that hot.
I'm the opposite. I have to fight north Minnesota temps, where it gets 50 ° below 0 sometimes. That's why I'm an indoor man ! I control the weather. But, LED's can give heat, so I always got that battle, trying to keep the temp below 85 °, in the tent.

50 below 0... Woah.. think I've only experienced 32 below 0 when I use to live in Pennsylvania. Many moons ago.

I'm gonna do something little out of the box, I'm a little uncomfortable doing this but for my hard tap water I'm gonna go for it but at half the recommended doses. Langbeinite. Cool cat named Kratos (from Rollitup) informed me the following..

"Unfortunately, the source of your water's alkalinity is the CaCO3. Attempting to pH your tap water will prove fruitless and a waste of time, resources, and not to mention the frustration.

Your soil will never be able to 'buffer' water. Soil buffers (like lime) only serve to buffer the soil. The water is a component. Buffering water and pHing water is something that is only for RO water, because RO water is stripped of everything.

Do a side-by-side grow in pots, with literally any plant. One soil with dolomite lime, one soil without lime. Use your tap water source on both. Over time, you'll note that the soil without langbeinite struggles, and the one with langbeinite flourishes.

Unfortunately, unless you get RO water, you'll need to have a constant supply of Langbeinite for any container growth. If you can plant in the ground outdoors, you'll have no issues.

This is because the water will flow down below your root zone, and any crystalizing of the CaCO3 will occur far below the root zone and, as a result, not have a negative impact on your plants."

This could go South..or it could go OUTSTANDING... (Am I using Kratos as a scapegoat? Of course I am! 😂)

half cup of Langbeinite per pot.. stay tuned
Solution grade Langbeinite Or granular? I’m using agmino 14-0-0 for a Nitrogen, bump! And solution grade langbeinite For a K bump! Already have too much phosphorus! L O L

Yeah, I dumped 10 pounds of that into my soil mix which is north of 250 gallons so It wasn’t enough! Was low on N and K! So trying to water in agmino And solution grade langebenite. Not used to having to feed them! Outdoors! I didn’t do a good job of a mending during the off-season! Time to pay the price now! Good luck with it! I was going to use wood ash, but that fucks with the pH!

I ordered a few of these gadgets, gonna give them a spin for a grow or two. Curious how the sundown sunup features work, if they can do that with static lighting like most of the LED fixtures out there.
I use the AC Infinity Controller 69 for my main lights in both my tents, I use the Sunrise/Sunset feature at 5 minute intervals, my lights will go up a level every 5 minutes until at my set max level and same before lights off.

I use roku wifi smart plugs for my Spider Farmer Supplement bars, they work pretty good but if they lose connection while they're on then they stay on, my deep red was on for 2 hours after lights off before I noticed one time.

The Sunrise/Sunset feature on the wifi smart plugs just calibrate to your locations Sunrise/Sunset time and turns on and off based on your specific location.
It can't raise or lower brightness level like the Controller 69, it would have to be able to plug into the drivers RJ11 port in order to contol dimming so the wifi smart plug is only a on/off switch.

That's where my concerns are with these guys, what happens during a power outage, but doesn't everything go out on a power outage? The Kasa smart plugs are said to still work even if the wifi goes down, that the programing is within the units themselves and not reliant on a wifi connection. The wifi is mainly for smartphone communication, like if you want to manually turn them on or off, but programs are not affected if your wifi goes down. again, everything goes down on a power outage, nothing we can do about that, not even a mechanical timer would help.

That's freakn awesome, I don't think them lights were available when I grabbed my Hydra - 3200, I love my AC Infinity controllers, they rule the game for sure. I've tried a few tents in the last three years and the Infinity tents are by far the best out there right now.

I saw that right away, think I mentioned that earlier, still cool to have if your wanting that earth cycle vibe. Sept-November grows for example.

I had luck using some wood ash bringing my OG Kush back to life. Think I was in 15 gallon pots, don't need much of it. In your 35 gallon pots shouldn't be that much of a problem. Think I was using half a teaspoon to gallon of water, once a week. Just got away from it like you have and am trying out the Langbeinite. Really more for my hard tap water, it's high in calcium carbonate and the sulfate is supposed to bond with the calcium into a usable plant available uptake, something like that. Per directions it would be 1 cup to 20 gallon pot (like mine) but I'm playing it safe with 1/2 cup. I already dumped Kelp Meal and some Bio-Live in the pot (top dressed) don't want to go crazy here adding to much. Less is more.

That’s almost Arizona. I am still tripping about you growing the haze in this heat!

I don't own any AC Infinity lights but the AC Infinity Controller 69 will work with other brand lights, I run x2 Vivosun VS4000, Spider Farmer SE4500, HLG Scorpion RSpec, and ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro each from a Controller 69.
The dimmer knobs on my light only have 5 levels, using the Controller 69 gives them 10 levels.
Your Hydra 3200 has RJ11 ports so I would think it would work with the Controller 69, you just also need either the AC Infinty RJ11 Type A or Type B adapter depending on the dimming style your lights use.
If you ever get one, make sure to get the Pro WiFi model, then you can control your devices from anywhere you have cell phone service.

AC Infinity is having a 10% off site wide sale plus you can stack promo code MRGROWIT15 for an additional 10% off and any order over $100 ships free.

I'm dumbfounded... No shit, I could've controlled my lights with the controller this whole time!? 😐
Threw them adapters away not knowing what they were for too.. 😟 uggg.. I have , or think I have one 69 controller, it's wifi, the other two are just Bluetooth. I'm gonna hunt down for an adapter, might have kept one... Lmfao.. I never knew man...thanks for the heads-up! See if I can figure this out today.

@Newty I just figured out them adapters do not ship with the controllers, or maybe they only ship with the 69 controller? The adapter I had in mind was not for the lighting, so don't feel to bad right now. Well I wish I knew this 3 years ago..lmfao.. do you know which adapter I would need for a Growers Choice ROI-E680S ? That one would be a game changer for me. I'll have to contact Infinity and see if that would work.

Think I found it!!!

No the adapters don't come with the Controller.
Looks like from the list, you would need the Type A for the Growers Choice

Green sand is a much cleaner K bump IMO. Langbeinite is packed with magnesium.

Agree, only greensand takes forever to break down. (Could be mistaken on that idea, maybe confusing it with Azomite) Lot longer than Kelp Meal. The magnesium does draw concern. Feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette to be honest. Only thing keeping me sane is the Langbeinite is a slow release. Some hate it, others swear by it. Only for my hard water am I giving it a spin.

I use spring water from seed to finish. Never have any trouble with anything. 5 bucks a case, so it wouldn't be feasible for outdoors. Just saying
