I'm trying to remove as much top heat as possible it's about the best i could come up with.
Hey mysticepipedeon i'm not using a filter right now it will get connected later on in flower when the smell is strong the thing is when i do connect it i have no other option to reposition the ducting from where it is now so i can put the filter on the ground, but since putting the ducting near the light it has dropped the canopy temp by a couple of degrees anyway i got cooler weather coming so this is really just temporary for hotter days.Filter on the outside, or no filter?
As long as the intake us near the top of the tent, you're fine. You might not need the duct between the light and fan, but I imagine you've tested it.
Hey Rock its a 4" not bragging lol its connected to a variac its actually been running slower than the lowest switch setting but i recently increase the speed alot i should of figured the lower vents earlier but at least i caught now its in flower.nice ducting and beautiful Bush, pushing 100+cfm thru a 6" duct?
Hey Zen i'm considering doing that after this grow i'll leave as is for the rest of this grow.Put the fan outside, roof if you have the room.
I removed both vent covers on my 4x8 to get the airflow right with a 6” exhaust, same with the 4” exhaust in the 4x4 bottom flap removed. Careful if it’s in a room with a lot of light I made homemade baffles and duct taped them to the inside of the tentI figured out the correct vent opening with the tent obviously it depends on the inline fan speed exhausting out the tent but when the vent opening is set right i found the lowest heat temp with the hygrometer at canopy level, in the pic if was to open or close the vent anymore it would have a negative result with air intake.
