Hi.
I just found these weird bugs hiding inside the growing point of my outdoor plants. They huddle together inside the growing tip where the leaves are still folded close. Like they hiding from the sun. When I open the leaves up they run away.

Any idea what these are? And how to treat them. Plants are in full veg.

Thank you for any help.

Check out minute pirate bugs and compare it. If so, could be beneficial

I think it's Orius majusculus. Creepy there are so many hanging out.

I should have warned you that they are known to bite, so beware. The Orius insidiosus (the pic you showed) is the most used as a beneficial but all of them bite I think. Probably after thrips so maybe a spray of soap will help disperse them.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try at sunset today.
