The adjustawing bro they run much cooler than you think and they throw down so much light it's crazy there the best out there imop and the cobra is made by sunleaves witch imop they Dnt make very quality gear I mean all there other hoods are not verry good I actually bought the smaller ones just the cobras and took them back to get the adjustawings and if your running a dark room they only support like 69lbs witch I think is really pushing it I know I have 2 and the cobra weights 40lbs and the Awing weighs like 10lbs and the light coverage is like a 5x7 area witch is crazy and the fact they run a bare bulb with no glass gives you 15 to 20% more lumens to your plants I'm. Sure either way you honors gonna be nice but I love my awings and Dnt plan on using anything else and there $50 cheaper than the cobras

Sound like you run 1ks.

Whats the temp in your flower room.

Ive always beens a vented 8 inch hood kinda guy. Maybe now I can ditch the hoods, get awings and run co2 for the higher temps......

You can get the 6" Magnums on eBay from a seller called seedsetc1 for $200 including shipping. He is in WA state. If he doesn't have any currently listed give him a call. He has his store's phone number listed on all of his auctions. Doesn't know shit, but has good prices.

Simply Brilliant

I love the large adjustawing!!!!! I have them in my 4k garden and they throw down a shit ton of light imop they are the best reflectors avalible!!!! Every flowering garden I will ever set up will be built around the adjustawing!! I Dnt think there is a reflector out that throws down more light then them and they only weigh like 8 pounds.
I agree. I'm a retired lighting cameraman, have worked around lights most of my life, have tested mo pic light prototypes out for mnfrs and there is not a grow light reflector out there that I've seen that has a more efficient spread or throw. In seconds, you can adjust height, tweak the angle of the throw, spot down or spread out the focus- I applaud the inventor for the nuances that, although not shown in their advertising, (which is a bit seedy, IMO), are built into the design and don't come w/ the cheap imitations.

Because they are lightweight and highly reflective they don't hold heat the way one might expect. I've set fresh, nickel sized nugs in the crease on top of the 600's overnight and they still need more drying time the next day. Oscillating fans directed above/through the canopy remove any excessive heat while providing the air circulation necessary for a healthy growing environment.

Simple, efficient, and brilliant. This will remain the reflector for my lighting set-up until LED or better yet, plasma grow lighting mnfrs work out the kinks and make them more affordable.

U gotta shop around. U can always find a good deal on reflectors! Adjust A Wings or Raptor's r ur best bet. I still love my Radiant tho but I wanna peep out the the Adjust A Wings. My boys at the hydro shop use them and they give good praise to them! Might have to run some and find out.

universal, bro. same mfr-same connector. the main concern would be the rating on yer cable- wire size- how many amps it's made to handle- I think they both use the same cable but since yer going down in wattage anyways, you'll be safe and good 2go regardless.

Yeah man, I just bought another 6 inch XXXL, and also got a King Cobra to see what teh fuss is about.. But Im seriously digging the XXXL's... The are so big and lite..I love how they are so lite....They say the XXXL weighs 30 pounds, but I swear it feels like 20.....I love these hoods....Im slowly but surely switching over completely to The 6 inch XXXL's.....

Alot of people dont realize that the xxxl hoods will increase your yield and pay for them self. They cover more area, can be ran closer, and spread the light more even over the area, add it all adds up and you will get a extra oz atleast, over the smaller hoods that put a hot spot in the middle and have to be ran higher.

I TOTALLY agree man.. The Radiants have THE WORST hot spot right in the middle of teh hood.. It sucks... You pretty much cant put a plant right under neath of teh Radiants, unless its really short...I love the XXXL's.... I can NOT say one bad thing about them, I love how big and lite they are, and how short they are as far as from the top of teh hood to the glass, its only like 9 inches....Very stream line, They work great with ducting...I love them, Just bought another one yesterday....I can't stop buying them..lol...

Good post man PurpleBerry, Theyt will pay for themselves teh very first run with them...No Doubt!
