What kind of Reflector Hood do ya'll fancy?

Im buying 2 new hoods to replace 2 crappy Radiants. Time to decide A-Wings or Raptors....

I assume the Raptor and the Magnums are very similer in terms of overall performance?

Magnums weigh about half as much as the raptor. The weight difference is a huge plus for magnums imo.

Yeah man, I just bought another 6 inch XXXL, and also got a King Cobra to see what teh fuss is about.. But Im seriously digging the XXXL's... The are so big and lite..I love how they are so lite....They say the XXXL weighs 30 pounds, but I swear it feels like 20.....I love these hoods....Im slowly but surely switching over completely to The 6 inch XXXL's.....

BROTHER! That is one, Clean set-up man... How do you have your duct run? It looks like the ducting is sun outside of the box then comes into the filters in teh back..Or maybe I just can't see teh duct behind the light....EIther way, Nice flower room bro... I like it!

Called Phat Mufflers..I just bought a 6 x 26 inch muffler... It says it will reduce 85% Of the Blowers noise... my fan sounds like a train is doing laps in my room right now...Hoping this will take care of it....

Id love to run those wings, But when you have a limit on amps you can use and you live somewhere that has very hot summers, ther is no way i could do it. Id have to drop 2 lights to add a/c. Air cool is my only choice. If you run wings your setting up a room a whole different way, id guess.
GOD if i put one of these wings in a room will it bring my humidity down?

Is your fan output around your living areas? If so, you might want to think about a filter that is packed with fiberglass and what it potentially blows out the other end. If the air outlet is near your living area, you might want to use one with foam or dacron filling. You can even make your own if you like.

Nope your right, the lights fan is outside the room, the room is 11.5l x 6w x 6.5h 3000w. You cant see it but theres a big furnace filter above the fan, behind the xxxl.

Yo i use the kind called Duct silencers there made by fresh filter I think and they Work awesome. I'm sure these will work just as good bro .I got the 6x26 in them instead of running 1 big filter I run 3 6 inch on 3 sides if my garden seems to work pretty good so far and it's nice to be able to hear your self think with the silencers on you'll be happy with them if not take them back and get the duct silencers I know they work great!!! Ahhhh shit There it is man I love those there so bad ass Gdreams knows what's up there the best in the bizz!!!!

Good info Prodigy.... yeah man, I think I will really dig the mufflers man... I have not hooked them up yet...still in the box, waiting to set up my new room...But ready to be able to hear myself think instead of a wind tunnel sound that I'm used too...

Im running 2 American Standard "Same as Trane" 5 ton units in the new flower room were building.

2 Questions for ya. Are the outside units on those mr slims pretty quiet? Also, do you mind sharing the feeding regimen for your soil plants?

They are pretty quiet and there slim! Quoted then a standard condenser or a thru wall for sure. As for my soil feeding Ck out waaynes GODs nute test thread for a diary, but in a nut shell bro I using a straight raw organic approach and I feed very sparingly, and I concentrate more on root zone then anything sleds, if you get a soil food web rocking IMO there's nothing better, lots of ACT, love and bennies!
And a long flush min 2 wks.

GOD, within your minimum [2] wk flush period about How many times per week do you end up watering?

When they need it about every 2 days, Ive been running 5 gall root pots, But Im stepping up to 10 gall so I think every 3 days will be about right,

I have an odd feeling The step up is going to be a nice thing for you around harvest time.

I run neg air and like adjust-a-wings for many of the same reasons that GOD does. You can blow a fan right at them for cooling if you wish. A little sway in the wind from fan configuration, and it's like having a mini light mover in the room.
