What most governments haven't caught on to yet is that cryptocurrency has already broken the government monopoly on creating currency. Fiat currency will continue to devalue as more crypto comes out that supercedes it in usability and storage. Crypto has essentially made banks obsolete, but few people realize it yet. Banks drive a lot of poverty creation and systemic violence in the name of profits, reducing their power globally can only benefit the rest of us.
