I've smoked a blunt, and it was nasty. So, what's the difference? I guess it depends on how much you like tobacco, the quality of herb and tobacco you're using and what you're rolling it up with. I feel the tobacco almost completely masks the cannabis, I find it very unpleasant, aka nasty.

I have never smoked a cigarette.
But I have had a few blunts at the beginning of my smoking career.

And I will say that the tobacco from the blunt wrap itself is disgusting.
It is tougher on the lungs than weed. The high it lends feels gross too.

Between the time I was exposed to my first blunt to the last one was a fairly short period of time. My aversion to cigarettes and tobacco products pushed me away from the idea.

From that point forward it was pretty much glass smoking utensils (pipe, bong, vaporizer) or nothing. I did not like adding more things to make the cannabis more harsh on the palette, throat, body & lungs (blunt wrap, joint paper etc).

You want to make the experience better. That way it draws you back to it.

If your gonna roll a joint or a blunt. I would suggest using the clear papers. They are made of cellulose (from corn). They burn smokeless. The best part is that they impart no flavor or harshness. You can really taste the flavor of the cannabis with these.

A bong gets you higher than the same amount would smoked through a blunt.

I smoke so many blunts its not funny I don't smoke cigs but I do like a good cigar from time to time. I like blunts mainly because of nostalgia when I was 17 I was selling weed and whenever I finished selling the bag and making my money I would smoke a chocolate blunt with all the leftovers from the bag. Now I smoke blunts almost every day especially on the weekends . I think its a cultural thing alto of my boys are from the dirty south

I liked to smoke blunts back in the day........ But cigars are not suppose to be inhaled unlike cigg's ( even thou both inhaled naturally have over 500 cancingens without anything added )

So: why not get hemp based cigars or hemp-rolling papers, or just stay to glass? ( not trying to debate with people but unless your a tobacco smoker, Your only Fucking yourself over on the cannabis side.)

In Europe it's very popular to mix weed fifty fifty with tobacco,in USA it's almost a sin.
Mixing with tobacco dilutes the high, flavor and exposes you to nicotine etc,its a cultural thing I guess.
I'd slap someone's face off if they didn't tell me there was tobacco in the joint! That's if I smoked with randoms in the first place lol . Definitely a sin over here

Have to agree to disagree on this lol. Maybe it's cause I'm from that dirty south, but I can roll a tasty blunt. The green wraps are the best, usually rock a White Owl Green Sweet myself. That's said when the herbs ground well, the wrapper is pulled tight, damn thing tastes just right lol. Definitely doesn't mask the weed flavor in anyway, burns forever(20min), and will knock you on your ass. That said all blunts are not created equal. Gotta know how to pearl that shit if you want an enjoyable experience. Much love

If your blunt experience came from swag in an old Swisher I can see being turned off lol. Definitely not the healthiest way to consume but fun none the less.

As stated before by @Freshone ,in Europe they do it . Mainly because the coffee shops weren't curing the weed good . It was still moist and needed the tobacco to keep the Jay lit. Back in the early 2000 I went to the Dam' and is where I learned about this. I smoke bowls a lot and couldn't keep one lit for shit and my sister in law told me.
So now they do it cause it's what they know, I'm thinking.
Also the difference is if you don't smoke tobacco it will make you light headed and dizzy. Possibly sick feeling in stomach. Like what @WeedLoverr said.
That is what it does to me being I don't smoke cigs anymore..
It's a contaminant when added to a jay in my mind..
Hope it helps

I use to roll blunts and sell them $5 a pop back in high school you could stretch a 1/4lb. Into 400-500$. Not really my thing they hurt my throat after a blunt or two.

I love chocolate blunts but they are scarce in my part of the u.s. found some a few weeks ago and had to indulge and fill two. They were swishers. Weed is so scarce with money being scarce and the flowering process taking as long as it does (compared to veg). I should have enough to last til February come Christmas time.

There are 2500 chemicals in tobacco, when combusted those chemicals turn into 4000 diferent chemicals, 70 of which are cancer causing. Combustion of anything releases harmful carcenogens, vaporizing below 400°F is the best way to inhale cannabis for your body.
