I've smoked a blunt, and it was nasty. So, what's the difference? I guess it depends on how much you like tobacco, the quality of herb and tobacco you're using and what you're rolling it up with. I feel the tobacco almost completely masks the cannabis, I find it very unpleasant, aka nasty.
I have never smoked a cigarette.
But I have had a few blunts at the beginning of my smoking career.
And I will say that the tobacco from the blunt wrap itself is disgusting.
It is tougher on the lungs than weed. The high it lends feels gross too.
Between the time I was exposed to my first blunt to the last one was a fairly short period of time. My aversion to cigarettes and tobacco products pushed me away from the idea.
From that point forward it was pretty much glass smoking utensils (pipe, bong, vaporizer) or nothing. I did not like adding more things to make the cannabis more harsh on the palette, throat, body & lungs (blunt wrap, joint paper etc).
You want to make the experience better. That way it draws you back to it.
If your gonna roll a joint or a blunt. I would suggest using the clear papers. They are made of cellulose (from corn). They burn smokeless. The best part is that they impart no flavor or harshness. You can really taste the flavor of the cannabis with these.
A bong gets you higher than the same amount would smoked through a blunt.
