I want to try my first scrog grow

when do I start folding and bending it under the screen? They are around a month old now and I have FIMmed them

Also. Is my screen the right size?

read this https://www.thcfarmer.com/grow/how-to-lst-low-stress-training.252/ and when you get that many branches you can put up a scroog net and get a even canopy. However, i only noticed your 2nd and 3rd pic having branches. The 1st and 2nd were just a single stem upwords. Did you not top them, if not consider supercropping.
You should also consider some defoliation once your 1st problem is fixed.

Don't stress the plants to much, they are getting the root system re-established for hydro
Also, my comments are for photosynthesis plants. I don't know about auto's

These are my soil plants not hydro.

not sure why they’re so different. Two are mac Jelly and one is orange cookies.

I didn’t top but I FIMmed them hoping for 4 shoots instead of 2.

these are photos.

I am hesitant to defoliate lately. I did on my last grow and I feel it killed my yields.

Thinking of getting these for LST when the time comes.

i dropped a link in the above post. start off with low stress training, if you look at the video i posted on my journal you can see how i've done it on the first plant in hydro. for soil i just put a little cut in my cotton fabric pot and then tied the branch.

i also start the training very early. Just massaging the the branches to grow the way i want from the start is allot easier than if they have grown. Careful for not breaking any branch, if it did happen just quickly tie it together and cover the split with a damp paper towel.

Yeah I know how to LST. I’m just not sure when and how the topping works when scrogging

I feel like I’m getting close to setting my net up and start weaving branches under it.

at seedling stage, I do my topping after the 4th/5th node.
is your 1st and 2nd picture the same plant?
I wouldn't top 3rd and 4th picture anymore. you can get those under scrog net and let them grow out.

I would stop training them for a while let them get some height, then when they are about 8 inches above where you want the net, drop the net on them and weave them all through in one go. If you are doing a second support trellis I would go a head and just hang that one above them ahead of time and let them grow through it. A lot of a ways to do this, thats just my personal preference.

Ok I FIMmed which I thought would give me 4 shoots? Did I FIM wrong? One plant seems to of split into two but the others look weird and like a head of lettuce.

I feel like I should of started training and bending already.

I would defoliate those plants. You are blocking a lot of fresh air and light. Just snip those fan leaves right out of there

I'd let them grow till the branches start stretching. Those are real short, might want more red light.
