Where do you plug in your LED Light?

Don't be silly, you are doing the smart thing not the paranoid thing! I did the very same. I purchased 2 new smoke detectors, 1 of each tent and 2 small fire extinguishers, one for each room. You are not being paranoid. You have no idea how many of these items, when they fail, they just start by smoking lightly for a few days before something serious happens.

Being that im going to be 18/6, i figured to start 6 at midnight, this way led is off while im sleeping. I'd rather not do that because electric is cheaper while we sleep. its cheaper to run during off-peak hours but safety first. - i also purchased a mars hydro 5L humidifier, you can leave it in the tent or out of the tent and stick a tube into the tent for the mist. I was thinking maybe leaving the humidifier outside the tent.

Hehe. This is my first indoor grow. I'm cheating. Using quality fem autoflower (blind/random) Sativa/Indica/Hybrid/Pheno seeds & super soil 5 gallon fabric pots in a 3x3x6 w/4" inline with carbon filter. Waiting for it all to arrive, got my location ready. You guys are going to have to guess what strains I'm growing. Hopefully i wont see an gnats/aphids.... bahhhh soil.

Everyone including me says autos are harder especially for new growers. Idk if ur new or only new to indoors.
But autos leave little room for error.
Seems like all the old heads like myself have only grown photos and dont really like autos. I have grown them a few times and have had mixed results. I def prefer photos. But ill F with autos everytime i get a free pack.

The last plant i grew indoors was made for outdoors and was photo. It was Jamaican sativa. I had brought seeds back with me from there in the 90's. The fan leaves were 12" wide and the fingers were 17" long, and we were in a closet space heh. it grew so big we had to abandon it. What a waste. I prefer photos too, i don't like ruderails. I like sativa/indica/hybrid. This will be my first experience with autos and its outcome in potency and quality. When i grow outdoor this spring its going to be photos and autos (if they're worth it/ (depending on this indoor grow).

Stupid question.

Where do you plug in your LED Light? - Directly into the wall, or in a surge protector power strip?

Also, do you have a fan blowing on your lights to keep them cooler?

I like to use a 15ft , 12/3 outdoor extension cord with the triple plug.

I then cut it off to the desired length and wire directly into a digital Intermatic timer.

Can find these used quite often on Facebook or kijji .
