which to do first topping or transplanting

do you wait until your done transplanting before you top a plant or can u start topping before u get to the finishing pot ?

I top in the final pot and secure the branches down to said pot with garden wire or pipe cleaners.

that what i was thinking wait until i transplant to 5 gallon pots to top and start training

I top em young at around 5 nodes. Then I let those grow out for awhile and I’ll gently push the two new tops to opposite sides. I’ll keep doing this every so often until the plant gains some size then I tie branches down. I topped and trained these 2 OG kush and their structure is really good due to all the training. It’s all preference when it comes to this find wut works best for you.

i would top at 5th node . let it recover for a bit then transplant - wait a bit then tie down
