Just came across these white fly looking bugs on my black flood tray… I did leave run off on my trays for 2-3 days I know I know my fault could of been the breeding ground for several stuff. Has anyone ever seen these bugs ? You can see them with your eyes no need for scope

Also haven’t seen anything under leaves or top of leaves just crawling on the flood trays have seen some run back up into the medium. Read that they could be soil mites? Running promix up

I’ve just seen them a whole lot so I recognized em right away. Yeah you shouldn’t need to worry about them, they’re beneficial “shredders” but an over abundance of them can Indicate you’re soils too moist

Spring tails is what I have came up with as well. I don’t see anything under leaf’s and flying around just in the flood tray
maybe just clean the ones up you can see so you ensure there arnt an abundance of them lurking :) spray abit of neem oil around the outside of your pots and water trays that should do the trick

Those are not flies they are springtails they are good don't kill them!!

If they show up you know you have a good ecosystem in your soil. Congrats!
