White oil burns

Sprayed plants with white oil ,2 days later have some burnt shriveled up leaves ,
they aren’t old shade leaves they are on top ,plants are super skunk ,lights have been on 12/12 for past 3 weeks ,
i Haven’t had any burnt leaves until sprayed with white oil,I sprayed with lights off ?
any help much appreciated thanks.

In Australia white oil is a spray for bugs etc ,I googled it and did not say about kerosene ,
it May be the oil that has burnt some of the leaves?I am not sure.
