Mothers doing well (top pic is white rhino next down is bluehash)
Clones taken (3 WR, 3 BH)
-Root Riot cubes soaked in 1/2 strength Botanicare Cal/mag Plus & Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom (tap water filtered through activated carbon prior to mixing). Had to dilute with distilled to get ppm to approx 380 after adding nutes. pH'ed to 5.8. Clonex gel used as well. Temp of root cubes kept at 78. Roots after 7 days (last pic)

Last 9 days of veg I switched on the bloom portion of the light as well.
Still 19 on 5 off.

For vegging nutrients I used a combination of tap water filered through activated carbon (my tap water pH is around 8-8.2 ppm 190), approx 1/4 strength (fox farm ocean forest soil is strong already i didn't want to burn them) botanicare cal/mag plus and pure blend pro grow pH'ed to 6.0-6.4.

3 days before switching clones to 12/12 I noticed a slight deficiency on the 2 blueberry hash plants. Started on lower/older leaves. White rhino was given the exact same nutrient mixture but is untouched and doing well (seems very hardy and tolerates a greater pH/nutrient range than blue hash). Average temp in my tent is 79 degrees average RH 55%. For correction I used 1/4 strength Botanicare grow formula in distilled water (no cal/mag) pH'ed to 6.8 for the first watering after noticing the deficiency. Next watering i used distilled only pH'ed to 7.0.

Flowering cycle started September 3, 2020. Deficiency has ceased to spread so far and plants are stretching nicely. The pics below are from today (see Dire Wolf, I finally caught up, all current now hahaha). This is my first grow in over a decade. I remember having vertical spacing issues in the past during flower phase stretching. This tent is 5.5ft in height. This is why I chose indica dominant strains and started flowering these current clones when they were around 8in tall. I will adjust top surface area and vertical height (prior to flower phase) accordingly on future grows. This is my test run to see where things stand. I've never flowered with LED before, only HPS, so I'm very curious as to how the outcome will turn out. I've flowered both these same strains from these same breeders before (again, this was under 400 watt hps I was using at the time) and had very pleasant outcomes, giving me fond memories of both. Nirvana White Rhino was small and bushy, short flowering time, very dense and pungent, and covered in white crystals. Great couch locky-ness and taste. Dinafem Blueberry hash plant was fairly small but definitely stretched more than the white rhino and was not quite as bushy, blue hash having longer node lengths than white rhino. It smelled exactly like blueberries around weeks 4-5 of flowering, but was quickly over taken by a pungent dank aroma soon after. Also a great smoke. This is why I specifically chose these 2 strains to start back with, ahhhhh nostalgia... I will update this thread as things continue to progress.

These pics are from 9-10-20. One blue hash leaf is showing slight deficiency but definitely looking better than before. Since the last post i watered with distilled + 6mL Botanicare grow (this is approximately 1/4 strength) pH 6.64 and then distilled with Botanicare cal/mag plus (3mL) and grow (5mL) pH 6.61. Since flowering has started i lowered the lights from approx 24" to 18-21". Ive started tying down to maximize available surface area/number of colas.

These next pics are from today (9-14-20). Everything is looking great so far. Pre-flowers are everywhere. There's gonna be some nice colas if all goes well. Watered today with tap water ran through submersible aquarium filtered packed with activated carbon for 3 days. ppm is approx 225. My tap water is well over pH of 8 and extremely buffered. It took quite a bit of pH down to arrive at 6.70 before using on plants. Will monitor any negative changes that occur, since the plants seemed to do a lot better using distilled water the last few waterings, I'm curious as to how they will react to my tap water. I would rather find a balance with using tap water instead of buying gallons of distilled. I don't deem it necessary to install an RO system at this point in time but we shall see...

Boring stuff first, then pics (reading is good for u anyway 😜)....

9-17-20 This is the last day I used distilled. Going forward I used tap water run through a submersible filter with activated carbon. All nutes are Botanicare line. I also started phasing out the grow nutes on this day as well since it was getting close to 3 weeks on 12/12 and the stretch was winding down.
Cal mag 1mL
Grow 5mL
Bloom 5mL
Silica 2.5mL
730 ppm 6.39 pH

9-20-20 phased out grow even more. Tap water 205ppm. I'm also slowly increasing the total ppm of the finished feeding mixture
Grow 2.5mL
Bloom 8mL
Silica 2.5mL
840 ppm 6.37pH

9-22-20
Tapwater
212 ppm 6.5pH

9-25-20 grow nutes completely phased out
Cal mag 1mL
Bloom 10mL
Silica 2.5mL
916 ppm 6.44pH

9-28-20
Cal mag 1.5 mL
Bloom 10mL
Silica 2.5mL
940 ppm 6.62pH

10-1-20 they're responding very well to approximately 1/2 strength of Bloom nutes. Probably going to stay in this apparently safe range for the remainder. I can adjust accordingly on the next round. I also added a supplementary light, advanced platinum p150. I didn't feel the advanced platinum p300 was casting enough light given the tent dimensions (32" x 32") and the 4 plants are taking up more surface area then I originally intended. I have both at approximately 20" above canopy, I'm satisfied with the coverage at this point.
Tapwater
210ppm pH 6.5

9-25-20 Really starting to pop. I confess, I'm slightly biased, favoring white rhino, I think simply for its symmetry. Hence why there's more pics of WR 😄. Short, bushy, and full, exactly what i was aiming for. Definitely looking forward to the end results on both tho.

Today they are really looking great and also extremely pungent.... whoa. I'm extremely satisfied with the results so far. Should be right around the halfway point to completion. Average temp day cycle is 79, night 70. I think I forgot to mention that before now, oops.
