This is a clone. Only 1 of 6 in crop of clones. Did this. All came from 2 host plants .
Just after flip (14 days ) reveged for 6 weeks then back to flower.
Should be done soon.

Just generics weird things happen nothing to worry about unless you start getting male parts on your F/s

I’ve been trying to follow along with this thread and hoped it would shed some light on what happened to my plants. They are grown from seeds of a sativa clone from last year, but I’m still worried they may be a strain of Ruderalis. They definitely have revegged at some point due to me forgetting to transplant, but is there a trick to tell what I have here from a sativa versus a ruderalis? They have a pungent sweet citrus scent.

my crow foot was in pre-flower for over 6 months ( tried to get her back to veg, but it didn't happen that way..
She even produced seeds BEFORE she properly flowered. (As you can see in the pic)

I've noted this in my hemp crops - to save money I allowed the hemp to go to seed thus creating lots of seeds for the next year. What became evident is they pack lots of strains into one particular strain to get a desired outcome. What would be the final step would be to breed it back to itself for several cycles to get a consistent output throwing away any of the "sports" that deviate from the newly created strain. That's too much work for most breeders. What you see are these component strains (often ruderalis for auto-flower for cannabis or ruderalis for low THC for hemp strains). As we rebreed these back to themselves these strains start to UNPACK their component qualities as variant "sports". I see autoflowers and three fingered deviants in my re-breed hemp grows often and have to cull most of them because I don't want to keep those traits (dont want the three fingered autoflowers flowering too early but the low THC is fine my goal as hemp grower being high CBD anyway but three fingered means fewer leaf mass too also not desired for me)

Yes, I remember a thread where someone said it's common in some of those OG lines, but I haven't seen it in anything I've grown out to this point. In my experience, with the genetics I've run, it's a reveg issue. I see a lot of threads and questions, so I suppose the qualifier is that UNLESS it's one of those OG lines (a list might be helpful so anyone else who wants to add their here, I think it would be helpful to others) it's likely a reveg scenario.

They continued flowering just fine.

I have seen it, absolutely. Thanks for the reminder!

It has to be! At least I think so. Also, I've been told that there are some OG lines that just grow triple-lobed leaves, period. But I've never grown one out myself, so I can't speak to it. Again, however, assuming it's true (and I'm assuming it's true), I think it's gotta be genetic, just as the reveg expression itself likely has a genetic basis I would think.
I’ve got a 3 finger in flower right now

Hey Seamaiden I saw your thread where you mentioned "reduced daylight (reduced by 1/2hr each day) during flowering and stopped when I hit an 8hr day" - did this mimic fall and help produce bigger buds or more trichromes? The guy that taught me how to grow mentioned that he does this for that reason...

I know im late to this thread but i. The last 10 years of outdoor growing I have noticed that GMO or chem cookies whatever cut u have or s1 seed the chem DNA seems to make them thro 3 and 4 fingers leaves especially when they are in flower most of the GMO crosses my brother made do it. The GMO x pure punch mad 3 finger leaves been outside since may and the GMOs x GG4 same thing and that plant throws really long stems and tiny leaves that only grow 3-4 finger but she is super healthy and in no way revegin. It’s a trait that lots of chem and sour and OGs will throw u

I believe there are two different things going on here. A re-veg will throw out 3 leaves, and even 1 leaf. However I don't believe every plant that throws three leafs is because of re-veg issues. I have grown many og's that throw 3 leaves all the way to harvest. My og twist and Goji og both do this.
I was curious about that. My girl had one leaf here and there and 3 leafs and 5 leaves at the same time. My plant is outside. It has hairs that are tipped in auburn color but also white. They are sm buds starting. When do I lower light to make buds form bigger

Hormones determine leaflet count.
Zn deficiency will reduce leaflet count, by limiting production of specific hormones .

I had a Gelato#33 and MAC 1 a couple of years ago start to flower about a month early. Since my first grow budded early and I didn't know any better I let it finish and chalked it to inexperience. When these 2 did, I turned the lights on and left them on. I don't think the MAC threw any 3 leaves, she just froze. The Gelato only grew 3 fingers for 2 or 3 weeks then went back to 5. At the time I figured light stress since they were from changing to 24/0, but reveg makes a lot of sense.
