will runoff ppm tell me if i have salt buildup?

You might not ever need to flush if you water between feedings. I saw that promix at walmart. Scary looking stuff @ 90% peat. Some of them moisture control soils also have little watering retaining blocks that work great for house plants but not good for weed. I hope you added a ton of perlite.
what was so scary about it ? i can tell you there is no blocks at all in this stuff

vermiculite or calcium bentonite are great natural alternatives.

With two 5 gallon buckets it's just 11 trips 😉
I'm always lugging buckets! Be it from my RO reservoir, to fill my drip tray rez for the pump, or watering my veg tent by hand. Builds character! 😆
