Yellow leaves for no reason

I have six plants and a few are developing yellow leaves on the bottom and I have no idea why. Can somebody help? I have done nothing different to these plants than my others and I can’t figure out what the problem is.

yellow leaves from bottom to top is usually a sign of N deficiency, but could be ph, or nutrient lockout also

like human, or any other species each plant is different, and not all will react the same to your feeding schedule or environnemental conditions..

This leaf is from a different plant. Same issue just not as severe.

This is my monster. Only one that was from seed, all the rest were clones except one was a seed someone else planted and I bought. Next year I’m going with all seeds. That one plant is so healthy and has had no issues whatsoever so I think I’m just going to go with seeds always.

I just pulled the branches down yesterday to get some light inside and to just open it up so it hasn’t turned back up all the way yet.

more info are needed:

what's your medium (brand, or composition)
what have you been feeding until now ?

it does look like N deficiency and also the browning could be P and or K deficiencies

That one plant is so healthy and has had no issues whatsoever so I think I’m just going to go with seeds always.

the thing at work here isn't seeds or clones, plant's needs and tolerance regarding environnemental condition will vary depending strains and even phenotypes within a strain.

Honestly was feeding bullshit all purpose plant food but not measuring and stopped because the last time I gave too much and they got some yellowing and slowed growing so I have just been letting nature feed them

They are living off the last overfeed, nature doesn't feed anything if it's not in the ground. Soil mix has limited food, once it's gone they live off what you feed them whether it be top dress or liquid.

This is only my second year growing so I’m new at all of it.

this will depend on where do you live, and what's available in gardening,or growshop nearby, also what's available on line in your area.

here you can find a list of nutrients brand with the country they're from, there is both dry amendment and liquid nutrients brands some organic some synthetic, any brand near the top of the list is used by lot of people on so on should give good results.

Some products within a brand line could be optionnal, but you'r gonna need some basic NPK with different ratio for veg and flowering, eventually some cal mag, and a bloom enhancer is also a must imho

Either report in bigger pot. Or put in ground..I used to have issues every year growing in pots..but I learned that if u put em in bigger pots,,or better yet. In the ground..it will Alleviate a lot of those issues.icwas growing in foxfRm ocean forest,,and I would get this yellow ing issue every year.i also learned u can speed up the budding by starting in 5 gal pots,,and repoting
around beggining of august. Cause when they get rootbound,they start to bud

I think you need to upgrade your pots for next year also! That’s a heap of plant for those pots! Plants look good overall!

usually i'm not a fan of video either it take age to get the usefull infos you need, i much prefer writed articles but i know this guy is legit and has a nice compilation of recipes

+1 for the pot upgrade. I haven't had much luck watering with plastic pots. The soil tends to stay wet too long.

The most common cause of yellowing lower leaves is movement of mobile nutrients, especially nitrogen. Inability of the plant to move enough water and/or nutrients from the soil is another possible cause. When in need, the plant sacrifices its lower leaves first.

I've heard of problems with putting pots directly on soil or grass because insects and other pests can get into the soil. I don't know how true that is. I just remember reading it in a forum some time long past.
