Hey guys new here. This is my first grow ever. Going to be growing in RDWC. Started germinating these autoflowers in 4" rockwool. Think that may be my first problem. Had light on them 24/7 since they sprouted. I had about 300 umols on them at first. Trimmed that down to 150 thinking they may have been getting burnt. But the 3 larger seedlings seem to still slowly be getting worse. It's about day 10 on these seedlings. They seem to be turning yellowish and the very tips turning pale / brown. Ill post pictures. Ive been really unsure of how wet I should have the rockwool and how often I should re add water. I am using distilled water currently with a small amount of ORCA. No nutrients yet. Have the 3 part GH flora series ill be using for nutes. I have these growing in a propagation dome with temps around 78. The humidity has fluctuated between 70-90 remaining usually around 75-80. Let me know for any further information. Any feedback is much appreciated! Hopefully the pictures don't suck.

The first looked fine then they slowly got worse as you scroll down

The third one downs dead

I don’t use rockwool however I believe they should of been moved by now into your medium
Seeds only store about a weeks food & rockwool is inert

How close is your light just to rule that out & what watt is it

Albeit saying that as said about rockwool & it being inert

It is my main grow light. 1000w. I got it about 3' away with a light sensor. Sitting at around 150 umol now. I am going to add cal mag (which was an oversight considering I'm using RO water. Not sure if I should add that to RO water from the start) and some very light nutes to a gallon to top water them tonight. Generally you should have transplanted to rdwc system by now. I used 4" Rockwell which i am regretting so I have no roots showing yet which I believe i need before transferring to rdwc?

Are you sure the light is actually 1000W? Is it LED or HPS? There are not a lot of 1000W LED's, and the ones that are are very pricey. My guess is if LED you've got a 1000W equivalent, which usually means about 100 watt draw from the wall.

Spider farmer g1000w led, so yea could be equivalent. I am assuming having germinate right into 4 " Rockwell was not a good idea? Any reason to go larger than 1.5" before transferring to hydroton median in the system?

As soon as I see true leaves, I want to be feeding a bit, if I'm in an inert media. I can usually get a week, post-sprout, out of whatever nutes are packed into the seeds, but I sprout under a lot less light than you did.

I looked up that light, it is 1000w, nice light!!! I would keep it dimmed down to about 30-40% in veg, maybe less for seedlings.
