Help Plants Getting Worse 18 Bucket Uc

robz- deleted your P deficiency thread as it caused confusion given it was 2 threads with same topic in the same grow. Where is your water level? Please take a pic so we can see as I suspect it may simply be too low.

Fortunately I was reviewing threads today and saw some activity and comments it seemed need addressing. About a month before this site crashed we had issued a post letting readers know we would be discontinuing responses on this thread and to instead contact us directly at CC. Given the amount...

    Root Pruning and Maintanence

A small 10-15% pruning would be fine going into bloom, assuming you've got an ample root mass.

Dropping the water level a few inches below the net pot?

Water level variances can be used for a variety of different reasons ranging from encouraging bloom induction to reacting to the absorption properties of differing substrates. There is actually plenty of margin for error in this department(other than level riding too high on wicking media...

Relativity of CM to Base A/B seems off. Consider bring up your base nute a bit to increase availability of primaries and micros.

    Mag Deficiency help pls!

Reduce the strength below 1.2 to say 0.8 (500 scale) until the plants begin responding with healthy new growth. As for now you plants are still reeling from excessive exposure to nute salts.

When plants start doing well try not to assume this means you should start bumping the nutes up at a high rate. Our rec is to increase by 10-15% per week. Your plants look well nourished so just back the concentration down to encourage water uptake. Also keep in mind that things like...

    UC actual available nutrient profiles

Can't say for sure...botanicare makes world class products no doubt. Though it's not uncommon for nutrient manufacturers to be forced or choose to source different raw materials as inputs for their ferts. Whether this is or has been the case with pbp can only be speculated.

    Deficiency ?????

Plants look a bit dehydrated, consider a flush and follow up with a bit weaker solution than you're running to ensure the plants stay vital. Otherwise, the plants look good.

Either way can work...just choose the method that better suits your schedules and habits and be consistent. It's a good idea to do pure water top off if you run your nutes a bit strong, conversely keep nutes in your top off if you tend to run a more mild strength.

We just started playing around with adding top drip to the UC system for seedling start ups in the UC. Will adding top drip slow down the roots reaching or searching for water? HR In our experience over the years we found that simply raising the water level provoked a more symetrical, well...

Just an expression of the natural morphology in the leaves...nothing to worry about as it's a good indicator your plants leaf tissue is well hydrated.

Plants look good..sounds like your on the right track. 1/2 strength on the RE root drench. The humidity may have likely helped the plants fully hydrate after their issues with the slime hampered their H2O/Mineral uptake.

    Ridomil SL Gold

This product has systemic properties that can persist in the plants and transfer into the buds and blooms. If used it should only be on rooted cuttings as preventative before transplanting into the system to allow ample time for dissipation.
