    This Be How Dirbag Do...

Hey, if you ever wanna try organic calcium, use oyster shells. Cheap, safe, and no silica.

    Gelato Harvest Info?

Yeah, I was hoping to get at least another couple of weeks of bud growth. What part of the country are you in? SoCal? And what do your trichomes look like right now?

    Gelato Harvest Info?

I've got my 2nd outdoor grow going in Los Angeles. Eight lovely ladies (6 different strains) growing in various beds and smart-pots, all in Super Soil. One of the plants is a Gelato/33 gifted to me by a farmer pal. I'm not familiar with this strain at all, but excited about it from what I've...

Very Hungry (and Stoned) Caterpillars - Bt Use Questions

I can appreciate that. But I would point out that what's obvious to you isn't necessarily obvious to others. And I don't have bt (it's on the way), that's why I asked (after I looked and didn't find the answers) about the nuts and bolts of use. Being that we're in the critical final phase...

Thanks. Sorry, but how do I find that video?

Socal Harvest Advice? Bud Rot Scare + Rain's Coming

I'm planning on doing an "early" harvest, but nearly all of the trichomes are still clear. I'd like to get a mix of milky in there as well. The forecast has calmed down for our area. Less than 50% chance of rain for 2 days. Thinking of doing a frame out of PVC (tons on hand) and then...

Very Hungry (and Stoned) Caterpillars - Bt Use Questions

And it's condescending jerks like you that make noobs like me hesitant to ask questions. And though I may be a noob at growing, I'm hardly one in the real world and have spent decades dealing with smug weasels like you who like to offer up snarky observations to show how much smarter you are...

Very Hungry (and Stoned) Caterpillars - Bt Use Questions

Sorry, I was wrong about Captain Obvious. It's Captain Asshole. And as for doing research, what the fuck did you think asking the question was? Isn't that why this forum exists? Or do you just come here to show off your crop pix and your witty cynicism? Why don't you climb back up on your...

Very Hungry (and Stoned) Caterpillars - Bt Use Questions

For those of you who use BT to control for pesky cats, will you please offer your thoughts on the following: What's your dilution ratio? Application method/tool? How heavy of an application? When and how frequent? How close to harvest would you spray? Thanks hive!

    Broken Branch

Geeze-Louise! Can I get a break? (Ouch.) Just as I was doing handstands that my dreaded bud rot was actually a few hungry caterpillars (now sadly deceased), I walk out this morning to find one of my major (lower) branches broken (weight?) and hanging by about 1/4 of the fibers of the branch...

Socal Harvest Advice? Bud Rot Scare + Rain's Coming

Nice work. Re: my situation, fortunately, the box that it's in has a four-foot trellis around it already. And I've got a bamboo patch right next to it that I can harvest a few poles to create extensions. Now that I know it's not bud rot, I don't mind the extra work.

Socal Harvest Advice? Bud Rot Scare + Rain's Coming

A-HA! I did see two small caterpillars on the plant (though not near the damage), but it makes sense. The damaged buds weren't entirely rotten, just brown pieces of it. Woo-Hoo! Thanks y'all. Much appreciated. I knew that the hive mind would come through. Looks like I'm building a tent...

Socal Harvest Advice? Bud Rot Scare + Rain's Coming

Be gentle, I'm a noob with my first grow. I've got a beautiful 8' Blue Dream gal in a 150-gallon raised bed (filled with Super Soil) here in LA LA Land. I've been scoping the trichomes daily for the past week. Yesterday, I came across a patch of growth on one bud that was darker brown than...
