Our Colombian Gold LE Collection is now available on our official website. This landrace hybrid brings together two legendary CG lines, a pure 1970’s heirloom male and another selected from a S1 of an old 80’s CG clone. Both lines have been hiding in two separate seed vaults for years, and have now been bred together for you all to enjoy.

It’s been quite an adventure growing these lines out, but we found some amazing plants, and we can’t wait to get these packs out there for you to try. Our selections have been heavily influenced by old-school cultivars, with many of our new creations based on the classic 50/50 Sativa / Indica hybrid. We also used a selection of our own flagship strains including Wolfman ‘Kuato’, Ace of Haze ‘R&C’, Toffee A’mour and our two new heirloom IBL’s, Kona Gold from Hawaii and La Perla Negra from Mexico.

These new lines were created to offer maximum diversity during the selection process, and I don’t recommend any of these lines if you are a novice grower. Plant size, and flowering times will differ a lot, so you’ll need some experience plant training and a good eye to ensure you get the best out of these girls. The CGLE line will increase size and yields of anything it touches, while also injecting that amazing electric / spacey energy to the high. All our lines are grown out in coco coir using standard nutrient feed, so fear not, none of these plants should be too picky if you grow inside or out.

If you are new to Hyp3rids, this is how we work….

All our ‘mother’ selections are here for you to see, as is the male we used for the entire collection. We don’t use clones (except our own), an S1 would be as close as we get. Remember these are F1 hybrids, so expect an abundance of variety.

There will undoubtedly be some absolute FIRE in these packs, so don’t sleep on this drop to avoid disappointment. The Colombian Gold LE line is already available on our official website, and still comes with the original 1970’s CG IBL as a freebie (while stocks last).

# - Bandit Kush - ’68 Purple Kush X Colombian Gold Legacy Edition Male

Pictured here is a ’68 Afghan Kush strain worked by @primordialbeanz. There is some information on ’seedfinder’ regarding this line. It was made using an old Purple Kush clone that originated in British Colombia. PB worked the line into 3 phenos, green, purple and lemon, before leaving the scene a few years back. This line was originally by Heime Cheeba we have since been told.

These are the last pictures we took of her before she got the chop. She’s a head turner right? She is mother to our ’68 Kush X CGLE hybrid ‘Bandit Kush’, and will be available with the rest of the Colombian Gold Legacy Edition collection tomorrow. Sensi Star F3 By Derg Corra Collective – Info from our IG feed…

Sensi Star is another amazing indica we will be using in our new CGLE Collection. Originally by Paradise Seeds, this line was worked by the Derg Corra Collective. These shots are of the same selection we previewed a few posts ago.

It’s hard to take a bad picture of this girl. She is a stunning, stinky, grease monster of a plant, and as you can see, is bursting at the seams with Sensi Star X CGLE offspring. For the collection we really wanted to use some legendary indica’s with our CGLE male, so Sensi Star was an obvious choice. For those of you that don’t know, Sensi Star is one of the best indica’s on the planet.

Expect monster plants in the offspring…

LAVA HAZE – KONA GOLD IBL X CGLE MALE​

Kona Gold IBL – From our IG feed…

A very rare and illusive strain gifted to us by a private breeder based on the big island. Kona Gold is one of the big 5 legendary Hawaiian strains, that include Maui Wowie, Puna Budder and Molokai Snow, and Kauai Electric. The real-deal KG is very difficult to find so we are very excited about this release.

Pictured here are different stages of the Kona Gold IBL during bloom. Once again, the plants appear very uniform, with liner bud growth throughout their 10-12 week blossom. There is no sudden burst of development, these girls take their time. But you’ll notice they keep getting bigger every day.

The buds are very dense and pack quite a punch. The cola on this pheno was rock solid when she came down. To get serious yields with this line I’d suggest vegging smaller plants out in bigger pots to ensure the structure / node spacing is a little more evident. And defoliation is also a must.

Aromas go earthy musk, body-oder, hash funk for pheno #1. Ph#2 is more sour funk floral. Ph#3 is more hashy, body-oder… Taste goes hashy, earthy, pepper.. Ph#2 has a chocolate / coffee thing going on.

Effect is AMAZING… Think a pure sativa ‘UP’ with a haze-like spaceiness, that will leave you feeling super positive and upbeat. You get these great ‘vibrations’ throughout your body that complement the head-buzz, leaving you very, very happy. This is a perfect social strain…

SANTA LIMON – [SD DHK Cut X 2010 SD ‘Rez’ IBL] X CGLE MALE​

San’s SD – From our IG feed…

We’ve been wanting to do a SD cross for a while now, but using a line that hasn’t been in the public domain. Our good friend San completed a serious of SD hybrids using a male he found in a pack of ‘Rez’ SD IBL beans from 2010. That male hit two official SD cuts, the Riri / DHK, plus a female ECSD V3 ‘REZ’ selection and another female from the 2010 SD IBL.

This is the 3rd and final pheno of San’s SD ‘DHK Cut’ X SD ‘Rez’ 2010 IBL we are gonna present. San told me that the 2010 Rez male he used leaned more indica, which would explain the structure. The yields, aroma and resin are through the roof on this plant, just look at the pictures. She might be short but those leaves still lean way more to her sativa side, as does the effect.

While her appearance is not quite that classic SD, she was our pick of the bunch. She’s loaded with CGLE offspring, and Santa Limón – [SD ‘DHK Cut’ X SD ‘Rez’ 2010 IBL] X Colombian Gold Legacy Edition – will be available with the rest of the Collection very soon.
