Gifting buds during the dreaded"Off Time"? Anybody?

Has anybody ever gifted a bud from their grow to a budtender at a dispensary? I did! Uda thought someone won the lottery. Told me about showing pics of grows but thats it. I gave her about an 1/8of Tangerine dream BF. She flipped. Really was the response. Gift your darlings.
