Hi, a simple beginner auto outdoor grow for fun, not for yield.
I use a Coir + homemade compost and perlite mix. Plants look healthy enough but I have a drooper.

This was actually my best starter but started to flower a lot later than the others. It also seems to curl up more at night?
As a beginner it’s hard to tell if underwatered or overwatered but the stems seems to be taught so if I had to guess it’s taken on too much water.
The soil drains well and when I stick a finger in the pot the soil isn’t wet, I have to go quite deep to feel a little dampness. The pot itself does feel quite heavy though.

Again this is my first basic grow, no feed etc just my mix, water and sun. They are small I know but they look healthy and the two that are well into flower smell amazing.

Thanks.

Looks thirsty to me, maybe a tad hungry.

What are you planning to do for flowering nutrients?
Hi, what’s the telltale sign of under watering vs overwatering? IDK if I’m stupid (I probably am) but it’s seems to be a very vague distinction between the two.

As for nutrition, I haven’t got a plan. Was going to wait until I see signs of deficiencies on leaves and then go from there.

Youre in flower now. Youre gonna run into all kinds of shit here in a couple weeks. Are you planning on using dry amendments or liquid fertilizers?

If youre going liquid i would recommend something that self buffers the ph, i use advanced nutrients sensi ph perfect (coco. I think megacrop would be more up your alley, its dry, you weigh in grams.

Also. Underwatered plants slump straight down. They just hang lifeless. Overwatered has a slight crown, or a hump, then point down. It’s highly unlikely you overwatered coco.

Please excuse my art work. It looks more like brittney spears vulvarino more than a leaf, but hopefully you get the point

Thanks for the chuckle but the visual aid did help. I’ll read more into nutrients and check out your links but I was hoping my compost would be enough for such tiny arse plants. I’m guessing neuts are draining away.

Np.

I assume youre in Europe or somewhere with a war on peat. Not sure if youre planning on treating that as you would a typical soil. But treating coco as soil can be a real cocksucker, ive done it a couple times because i got bored. It can get difficult to do. Thats why these days i mix it in with soil or commit 100% to liquid fertilizers. I suggest you do the same. If you go that route make sure you have plenty of runoff, and pay close attention to how much it dries. With megacrop its easy to do it daily. Liquids are a little bit more of a hassle. An ec pen is always recommended with coco, as is a ph pen, but i use it less and less with these ph balancing nutrients

This is an outdoor grow. Those white spots aren’t bugs. At least bugs I can see with a naked eye, I have companion plants nearby that luckily have attracted most attention from pests. I’ll check again tomorrow though.

I mixed the coir and compost in equal amounts, it is well mixed and is quite soil like and I’ve had success with other plants. I’ve realised since I discovered this site that it’s not an easy medium.

I’ll consider megacrop for my next (with hopefully a better start) grow. I’ll also introduce some LST too and bigger pots!
As for these I’ll see what happens to these plants as they are to satisfy my curiosity.

Thanks.

I don't grow for fun like you say your doing. I grow to harvest and smoke the best weed i can grow. Dude they are most likely small bugs it's to be expected outdoors. Not doing your homework for growing weed this is what you get. I like to help but it's so frustrating when folks go willy nilly run into issues cause they did'nt do much education on what it takes to grow weed. Auto you got will be so stunted or not grow anymore if you transplant now in flower. I'd leave it and take better care of it.

Hi thanks I understand that’s it a peeve of yours and I can only apologise. I learn by doing and if these plants die then I will try and work out why and then try again.

Thanks.
