Stuggling with daytime temps, advice please

I was afraid the deer would like my plants. They ate my cherry trees, branches and all. They ate my dang pepper plants before they bloomed. I figured a nice relaxing indica would be the perfect treat after the hunting season opened. But my plants, they haven’t bothered even once. I see them almost nightly in the area around my plants, but in three years not a nibble. I really have no clue why. I’d like to take credit for this, but I can’t.

Hey so me and my buddies found that if we used gloves we were good but if you touch the plants with your bare skin the deer ALWAYS find them! What is your experience?

I pissed around it. Try to piss on a tree, a bush...anything. Moth balls might work.
