I'm looking for strains that their main effect is they knock an insomniac to sleep. What strains would fit this category and why?
I totally agree on Herijuana. One of the most narcotic cultivars that I have ever run. Woodhorse is still selling those seeds. I spoke with him not too long ago. I might pick some up at some point. I have never ran a pure Romulan, but have grown it in a fuckton of hybrids. Positive vibes...I have had insomnia and in the long run edibles work best but sometimes it take hours to get the desired effects.
Black Domina is my #1 strain for insomnia with Afgoo,Romulan,Herijuana also putting you down.
Preserve the genes you dig! Old school rules, new school all hybridsThe rock those are some serious old school strains man you been stuck under a “rock” since 2002?

In my opinion, I’d stay away from the CBD oils, and keep with the suggestions of a good indica. My wife’s insomnia is heightened by a myriad of ill’s, she’s using two size 00 caps a night, one is decarb’d ground bud, the other a coconut infused cap (also decarb’d). The ingestion route is easier on her system, and mellows out the results, mostly works.

She's taking one of each, and through her seat of the pants experience believes the coconut infused caps get started faster. By weight alone the dry caps are .4 grams, and the coconut infused are .8 grams respectively, but as always without an approximate potency level, is somewhat arbitrary... With me, the coconut infused caps take about an hour, maybe 1.5 hours to get any effect... (The only strains I'm cultivating are indica's and predominant indica hybrids.)@Dan789 Does your wife find it more effective to use gel caps vs eating the the decarbed buds 'raw'?
