    My plant seems droopy

C'mon. This is what you replied to: You replied with a parade or horribles about lawn products -- when the topic is clearly about growing cannabis. IMO, this kind of stuff is bullying. I've seen people who can't participate on forums because they're shamed for using Organic Choice -- which...

Ak47 4 weeks flower help plz

I think you're in range, and it wouldn't be wrong to do it now. But, I think they have 7-14 days left. If I were you, I'd use the epsom salt and kelp once, separately between now and chop. If the soil is drying fast enough to work two feedings in, I would do kelp then epsom. The amounts I...

Kellogg cactus soil, MiracleGro "Tomato" & household LED lightbulbs

DAY 28 (yesterday, Sunday, September 8) LIGHTING: 10am: I turned on the two sidelights (which were turned off last night after mainlining, and the exposed growth seemed tender). Noon: I put the 9w warm 2700k bulb back in the desklamp. (Now that the plant's shorter, expected to grow laterally a...

    My plant seems droopy

"Problems" with MiracleGro is vastly different than saying the potting mix is unsafe, not intended to grow ingestable produce due to metals, etc. I'm not a fan of MG. But, there's no reason to make anything out to be worse than it is. That doesn't help anyone.

    Growth Hormones for flowering stage.

People use kelp for that. I use it in late flower. In veg it causes stetch that I don't want. In early flower it seemed to also. But, by the ripening period, it seemed like all the "stretch" went into the buds. Like they densed, thickened, hardened. I use Alaska Pure Kelp (Pennington, sold at...

How do you reverse or stop the effects of stress?

I've always heard SuperThrive is good for stressed plants. I've never used it. You said it's in coco an potting mix. Do you know which potting mix? That second photo shows a small wet mark in the soil. Do you wet the entire soil, or do you give sips around the stalk? (The latter could be a...

    My plant seems droopy

I just spent some time at the Washington State Dept. of Ag database (<<link, showing metal content of horticultural products). This is the MG "Potting Mix" you're using: This is the Kellogg Patio Plus I use in my soil (the soil I normally grow in, not the cactus stuff I'm testing right now)...

    Seedling Issues

I've never grown outside, but couldn't you create a greenhouse with diffuse/filtered light and grow in the outside soil from seedling? Wouldn't that just be a matter of reducing the strength of light? Harden them as they get larger? If they grow well in your outdoor soil, what if you made your...

    Indoor Grow Newbie

Thanks, you're right. I went back and looked at something I saw on Trollitup a few years and I read it wrong. Tin foil actually is up there in the 95% range too. Flat white is somwhere in the 75-90 range. (I think I'd be worried about mylar creating hot spots like tin-foil is reported to do...

    My plant seems droopy

All I see there is something about a pelleted product (for lawns?). Nothing about heavy metals and the fertilizer not being intended for growing ingestible prouce, only ornamental flowers? Relying upon that as a reference for such sweeping claims seems like a stretch. There are databases with...

Do you have a reference for that?

    Indoor Grow Newbie

If that's tin foil, I've read many times that it can create hot spots (reflections) on plants. White posterboard might work better. (I saw something once that said flat white reflects the most light. I remember that stuck with me because my T5HO fixtures have mirror reflectors. I wondered why...

Ak47 4 weeks flower help plz

I haven't heard that. Maybe someone else knows about it. Or, maybe it's specific to the last day or two before harvest? (I've heard of people doing long dark periods before harvest.). Something you might want to look at is flashing the lights with a far-red LED (720nm, I think. I forget)...

Ak47 4 weeks flower help plz

Are you thinking that would help it flower more? I don't think it would. The plant needs light to develop and grow. I think more darkness would be be like going back to those 6 weeks or so of inadequate light. If anything, I would add more light for the 12 hours the lights are on. Push it...

    My plant seems droopy

I like AK fish. But, it's 5-1-1. You need something else for a more balance ratio (unless the soil is fortified and you just need to supplement nitrogen. AK has "Morbloom" which is 0-10-10. You can mix 11 & 3ml to get ratio 1.23-1-1 (285ppm). Or 13 & 2ml for 1.83-1-1 (280ppm). I like more K...
