I'm getting older, but the hard part about that is all the beatings my body took from years of extremely hard physical labor; 6 years cutting, splitting and selling firewood (started doing this at 12yrs old, by the time I was 14 I was running the chainsaw....at 14 I was already almost 6 ft tall 160lbs...grew to 6,' 4"). 10 years construction along with shingle roofing, hot tar roofing and basement waterproofing, timber cutter for 10 years, small wire burial for 5 years using a machine that beat the crap out of me.

And I was always taught to "work through it", so I had that "tough guy, nothing can keep me down" mentality. When I was 32 got hit in the head by a limb while cutting timber. Shattered forehead above brow. Broke both eye sockets...left eye socket was so shattered that the doc had to put it back together by putting it together like a puzzle glued to a piece of surgical mesh, he then set the fabrication into my skull. Broke both cheek plates....the left side all the way down and thus breaking the left jaw as well and taking 4 teeth out. They did an excellent job job putting Humpty Dumpty together again! My point sharing that was as a note to my machismo....I went back to work 2 months after the accident!!! By the 5th month post accident I was back to cutting timber, which I continued to do until my back laid down on me 2 years later, but even then I just found other things I could do until it became more feasible for me to get my disability than to continue, because with each rung down the ladder I descended, the pay went down as well.

No medical law here for buds, but through research I eventually tried marijuana for chronic pain from the herniated discs in lower back. Worked awesome for the lower back pain, but I have a spot on three ribs about halfway between my right shoulder blade and my belt where I was hit by a limb, and when it starts hurting the only thing I can do to ease it, and it brings tears, is to take muscle relaxer, smoke an entire joint, toss back 2 shots of good bourbon, and lay down, be absolutely still and sleep. With continued use I one day realized I was no longer having grand Mal seizures. It controlled my epileptic seizures, something, and neurologist agreed, that pharmaceutical anti-seizure drugs had never been able to do!!! Yaaaayyyyy!!!!!!! Haven't had a grand Mal seizure in, I think, 8 years now.
