aloe vera contains Salicylic acid exxcellent stuff for rooting au natural

I like willow better but aloe plant was all I had.

one thing you can do if you're cloning solely with aloe vera is get a pup and squeeze the juices into a cup of water and let a cutting sit in it overnight than the next day take the cutting and a fresh pup and insert the cutting into the pup that you broke off and rub it against the inside fibers. the fibers on the inside of the aloe vera actually scuff up the stem a slight bit to help reveal the cambium layer underneath promoting better faster rooting.
