    light green color edges wtf

The leaf coloration is a phosphorous deficiency. I only scanned the thread. It sounds like you're using organic nutrients. If so, pH in the rhizosphere isn't usually a matter for concern. Just nurture the microbes. Have you added mycorrhizae?

What ph to use with gaia green

It's microbes that matter not ph with gaia, it's completely different than synthetic nutes. I highly recommend looking into the rhizosphere and soil science. Good books are teaming with microbes, teaming with fungi, teaming with bacteria. Those are good, build a soil eeb site has good free...

    Wanted Building a super soil

None. Organic fertilizers are often slow releasers of the nutrients and need to ferment or compost for a while to get the nutrients to a level that is beneficial for the plant. At the same time the soil gets balanced and homogenized and a rhizosphere forms.

    That’s what I’m trying 🥲

Roots organics top feed instructions seem unclear.

Hi all. New grower looking for advice.

...foal is to read the plant and adjust nutrients and lighting to assist in proper Ph stabilizing. You take the position of controlling the “rhizosphere” in hydroponics. Soil does all this in its own processes coupled with the roots excretion of acids. We see it in hydro as Ph swings when things...

pH in the rhizosphere off...I was hoping to get confirmation. How would I bring it back to normal without adding more calcium? The only way I know is lime and that is calcium. Perhaps If i take a core sample with a length of copper tube and make a slurry it will give some idea of the pH at...

Leaves curling on top a little

...famous plethora of microbes...over watering on top of this leads to the microbes excessively eating through certain minerals in the soil/rhizosphere and as a result, yielding larger amounts of plant available nitrogen. Hence the not having added nutes but somehow are seeing excessive nitrogen...

What’s been your most wasteful purchase?

...mentioned it. I wouldn't even suggest it to non-organic growers. I guess I think of it as moisture management, rather than watering, with the goal of optimizing the rhizosphere and mycorrhizae. I'm mostly curious to see if it works. I'll let you know if it doesn't. If it does, I'll patent it. 😉

Organic Cannabis Cultivation - Living Soil No Till - KNF culture

I do a living soil myself just no cover crop, I mulch and add bugs via great unscreened worm castings. Glad you came by the farm, we have some other living soil folks as well

Organic Cannabis Cultivation - Living Soil No Till - KNF culture

Thanks!!! Yes, it would be better to have large beds, the bigger the better. Thanks to the rhizosphere that is formed, plants can transmit nutrients to each other, simply a beautiful symbiosis. It is in my plans to soon build 2 beds of 200cm x 60cm x 40cm. Thank you for taking your time to...

Again, look at the roots website. Trinity is kelp, molasses, and wetting agent. Seems to be a microbe food, similar to recharge without the microbes? combined with their buddah grow (Nitrogen rich guano) or the buddah bloom (phosphorus rich guano and phosphate rock) it makes an organic liquid...

Roots organics top feed instructions seem unclear.

Anyone actually growing should be reading the labels with the right info on it, like on the package. Not relying on the description of what a company says a product does. Now it just sounds like you're reaching for some reason. Not sure what you have against Roots Organic, but clearly you don't...

H&G Roots Excelerator or GH RapidStart for Aerocloner?

    light green color edges wtf

A slurry test is never a bad idea when you are diagnosing a plant that’s acting up. Ph sounds like a potential culprit. Usually not an issue in organics, but depends on soil additives.

Any thoughts on this organic grow plan i want to try?

...with the other nutrients you mentioned. I supplement with Azomite, gypsum and Epsom salt during nearly the whole grow. I use either Mykos or Great White for the rhizosphere. So, I can advise about the supplements I do use. It also can be helpful to talk about soil amendments like perlite, etc.

Dropped leaves over and over again

Dude that solid feeling is your roots, don't mess with them. Definitely never do that again ever please no more squeezing, for the sake of your rhizosphere. But that being said, best of luck! 👍

    So overwhelmed, I need a mentor! :)

...using something called Mykos. They add beneficial microbes to the soil. They're fungus that helps the roots. Creating a healthy root zone (rhizosphere) is the essence of organic growing. Now we're talking about soil mixtures. It's a complex topic by itself. I think you're off to a good start.

Yes. Each week I water with Root Magic myco+I know this SIP was just about dead when I got it, So I added compost tea. I have a cold compost pile that is 2-3 years old. I brought in a shovel full from the bottom and let it warm up for a day and made tea+black strap. I bubbled it for 24 hours...
