    Making Cantaloupe Fermented plant juice

Curious if anyone is or has made cantaloupe fpj? From what I can tell it is high in potassium. I would guess it would work well during the late flowering stage.

Yes, the universal ingredient to make plant fermented juice. You weigh it out in equal weights to the fruit or plant that you are using and let it ferment for about a week. (The aloe weighed 12 ounces, I then weighed out 12 ounces of brown sugar) we'll let that do it's magic for a week or so...

    Hermie or male???

Yeah it's a male. I personally think about people around me I wouldn't want to seed up someone's harvest. I would cut it up real fine and compost it or turn it into a fermented plant juice.

    Flushing plants has no value?

@simonkay I'd be leary of using fermented juice, the byproduct is alcohol, and that could create all kinds of issues if it didn't kill the plant outright. If it was just the fermented mash, I could see that being beneficial, but fermented juice itself is wine

    Flushing plants has no value?

For sure thats why ill only maybe sacrifice one plant when i got enough going. The recipe says to ferment for just over 2 weeks with molasses. I wonder how much alcohol is produced in that time? Again something I'll look more into and post if i find anything solid

Nice! I never used bokashi, correct me if Im wrong but is fermented kelp right? Wanted Building a super soil

The bokashi i use is done the old way, it's a Japanese fertilizer done by fermenting fish meal, kelp extract, wheat meal, rice meal, Bamboo meal, biochar, molasses and locally harvested beneficial fungi and bacteria from the forest (in cooked rice). It's a microorganism bomb and has 2.5%...

    Going to try an experiment.

A good source of quick potassium is to make a banana tea. Soak several banana peels in a jar of cold water in your refrigerator for a week or so. Toss peels and use water for a quick organic potassium boost. I do this weekly in the second half of flower. FFJ (fermented fruit juice) is also...
