I run a 4 burner LP generator, but also run recirculating carbon scrubbers in my room that run 24/7- I have never noticed any combustion odor.

Nice thanks for sharing your exp with those controllers. I have had my CDMC6000 from Green Air Products for years and it offers the best set of features IMO and is very well built, The sensor has required one 120$ refurb in 6 years.
