Anyone Use Side Lighting?

I'm lucky with my grow right now to have a little extra space. I was going to hang them sideways on the wall. I'm going to get 8 bank T-5 and give it 6" to 1' distance from the plants. Might fill in the side and bottom of the plants. I'm interested in how it works out. Thoughts or options?

it is indeed a great addition to your grow. Use HO T5's it will really add to your bottom of the plant yields and fatten up those stragglers that would normally be popcorn or larf. However in doing so realize that you will be increasing your heat load index and must make sure you have adequate heat extraction and or cooling to offset the added heat that is notorious from the t5 ballasts.
