Here are a couple pics of my black domina plants i have sitting in 3 gallon pots on my back deck. They came from a home that has had mildew issues and i put them out a little late.. I got 2 black domina's and 2 lemon skunk. After having the right condition's one day they started showing signs of some mildew on a few of the leaves. I just kept removing any leaves that showed sign's of the mildew.. I avoid letting them get rained on as well by keeping them close to the house whenever it rains as they get good covereage from the roof overhang. They have been doing ok the last few weeks, very little signs of any mildew. I think the lemon skunk has pretty good resistance anyhow, as they have been grown in the house i got them from a few times now with no signs of mildew on any of the buds, although some of the other strains have not been sp lucky. After reading online i decided to try the high ph spray to see if it works, isoaked them good with a spray of about 9.5 ph the other day and they seem to be looking good now. I will probably continue to spray them once a week or so just for good measures.The lemon skunk might not have time to finish, as our summers are pretty short in eastern Canada. I really didn't think i would get to see any bud at all with the mildew problems i was having, but now its looking very good. The Domina has come along nicely and looks to be just a couple weeks away from having some smokable bud, they are starting to throw out some crystal now, the hairs have turned a beaituful purple color on the upper buds, and they are tarting to give off a very nice smell. I have been dying to try this strain, as i have heard good things about the Domina. I was wondering how many different pheno's the Domina has though. Anyway i have a few pics of the plants here.

I have moved my 2 Domina's indoor's now. Each plant is sitting under a 600 watt hps eye hortilux. I figured indoors they wouldn't be getting that morning dew on them and i would have a better chance of keeping them dry and mildew free. So far so good, and i've got to say they are looking and smelling amazing. They have loaded up with huge trichs, and are getting quite sticky. I am quite excited to see these girls finish up in the next couple weeks, im thinking these buds are going to be sweeet once in the jar and all cured up..

And yes it is rather nice to grow :) The description for this strain on attitude says that grower's of this strain will tend to spend extra time in the growroom just to take in these plants, its true, i find myself standing over my plants just staring at all the trichs. The trichs on these girls are so big you can almost count every one individually with the naked eye, and even the very bottom little tiny nugs have crystals right out to the ends of the sugar leaves.. Best of all, these babies still have atleast 2 weeks to go i would say so who knows how crazy coated they will be by then.. They are sucking up gallons of water almost every day and just loving the old earth juice.. I can't wait! A little amber, i think so...

Here are a few updated pics of my Black Domina's. They are looking pretty good now, hopefully they are only 2 or maybe 3 weeks away from being done. It's hard to believe this babies still have another couple weeks to go atleast. They are just covered in nice big trichs and are now starting to pack on weight quite fast. The tops are becoming quite solid now, with a good couple weeks to go i just can't imagine how gooey and stinky they will be by then. After having a bunch of auto's go hermie on me last crop i am a little paranoid now of it happening again, although i have read that some of the auto strains can be quite touchy when it comes to stress.. Anyway i am trying to keep a close eye on these plants, i check them daily and try not to stress them in any way. I did a few small fixes on my tent to make sure no light at all can peak in from anywhere. Well here are a few pics of my Domina, the 2 Lemon Skunk i had i gave to someone to finish off indoors. I hope the LS finish off nicely as well, they had quite a lot of leafy vegetation on them and with the small mildew problem i was having with them earlier on i didn't want to risk them being indoors next to my black domina's, i have been dying to try the Domina and they are looking way too nice to risk losing them now.

Well i cut down my 2 Domina's, they have been in the jars for about a week now, although i have the tops opened a bit still to dry them to perfection. I've got to say i am quite pleased with the strain, as i thought i would be. Very happy with the high, i find the high lasts a good 3 to 31/2 hours minimum, which is great. I got probably between 95 to 100 grams off the 2 plants, which isnt terrible i suppose. The buds are crystal coated and the larger buds are all solid as rocks. I am very pleased with the length of the high, as this is one thing that really annoys me with a lot of the strains i try is i may get a nice high at first, but 45 minutes later i can barely tell if i smoked a joint or not.. I wish i could figure out how to upload zoomed pictures, or save them zoomed on my camera then upload them, i just figured out how to get very nice close-up pictures of the trichs but i can't seem to save them zoomed, or upload them the way i want them after i put them on the computer and zoom them, h well i will figure it out eventually. The 2 lemon skunks i had are at a friend's house and will be done very soon too, so hopefully i will have a jar full of the lemon here soon too.. Nice to finally be smoking very good and free herbs once again..
