Hey guys,

I need a little help on running 2 40 gallon rez tanks. I'm setting up a new 3x6 tray. I got a deal on 2 40 gallon stock tanks. These are used for live stock. For holding water or feed.

My question is this. I need to link them together. So, I will have enough to flood the table and supply the table for a couple of days. What size bulkhead fitting should I use? I was thinking about using a 3/4" and linking both tanks with 3/4" PVC. So, the water will drop in both tanks at the same time.

Let me know if I should go larger or smaller. I'll post some pictures. Once I figure out what size I'm going with.
Thanks,
BG

3/4" will work just fine. I have trouble imagining a scenario that has the plants needing water faster than that, unless you have a flood.

Ya, I'm running the tray as an ebb&flo. I think the flow from the other stock tank should be fine. If, I've got to. I can always up size the fittings. I think the flow should be fine. I'm not pumping that fast, so the flow should work out.
Thanks,
BG
