Anyone have to change out cracked buckets and didnt want to drain your whole system? Ever stuff socks in a ziploc bag and stuff in line on both sides of bucket to change? Lol! I have heard of people buying expensive bladders to plug but I wanted something cheaper. Go to the Home Depot and in the irrigation section look for these 2" Oatey Grippers. I will post some pics for you. Under $4.00 for one. You have to modify a little but well worth it. They are made to fit flush against the outside of the pvc pipe when it is flat but with the UC it has a 45 degree cut so these need to fit inside the pipe. I took mine to a grinder and grinded the biggest side down to the top tapered line and it works like a charm. Install one in each side of bucket that you need to change, vacuum out bucket and change. Hope this helps some of you cause it sure made life easier for me.

they allow easy access if it's needed, and they're actually less expensive than an abs cap!
