I can get some good deals on some strip lights to build some good grow lights. I can build these lights with a strip light. The good thing about using strip lights is that you have more air flow through the strips.
What do you guys think about 80 cri vs 90 cri for growing?
I can get these bridgelux vesta series strips in 90 cri with 2700k and 5000k for a good price.
I can also get 3500k and 5000k, both 80 cri, strips seperate. There is a lead time on these though.
Would the 90 cri lights be worth building a good flexible grow light for growing weed? Or do people prefer 80 cri for growing? Is it just a matter of efficacy in lm/watt? Or is it a spectral shift?
I plan on building a couple to start with in a couple weeks. I am building something similar soon, and I will post pics of that build to give you guys an idea.
