In trying to reign in my already overblown budget for my new bestest hobby, I’m wondering if I really need to buy all three Fox Farm Soil components. Would I be just as well served to use just one of them through veg into bloom? I’m 5 weeks in, indoor tent, 2 plants, 600w led, filtered exhaust, fans, 5G smart pots (too big!), FFOF. I am expecting to have to mute sometime soon. Thoughts?

You dont need veg nutes for ffof.. Then hit them with the flower pk stuff at flip. Cut it in half

Everywhere I have read (that I recall) says 30 days with FFOF then soil is depleted and needs a charging. Not true? Maybe I misunderstood.

  6. Hello GrowVT...

The Best I Can Do Right Now And Especially Since I've Only Used One Of Fox Farms Products---> Their Ocean Forest Potting Soil.

So While You May Have A Short Wait... Let Me Give You Two URLs.
This One Is Within Their FAQ's Section In Fox Farms @
https://foxfarmfertilizer.com/item/faq.html <<<--- So When You Get There
Look For Soil And Soil Conditioners/Click On It And You'll Get Some
Answers Back From Their FAQ's Section.

And This One Is Their Soil And Soil Conditioners Page @
    https://foxfarmfertilizer.com/category/soil-and-soil-conditioners.html

May I Ask {You Don't Have To Answer} But Why Not Just Call A Like 3 Of Fox Farm Reps And See What Kind Of Answer You Get Back. Now To Clarify... Your Situation May Be Completely Different Than Mine. I'm From Oregon. I Hope While You May Be Waiting A Little Bit That You Might Be Able To Get An Answer To Your Question.

I've Only Gone With Only 2 Different Nute Companies And I've Made And Make My Own Soil Mix. Those 2 Companies Are/Were---> General Hydro And Advanced Nutrients.Oh Hey... Try A Search For Fox Farms And See What The Site Pops Up. With Both Companies And Especially With Advanced Nutes... I Learned To Only Use Anywhere From 1/3 To 1/2 Of The Recommended Amount.
Unreal How Much Further The Nutes Went And By Far Very Cost Effective.
After All. These Are Gigantic Businesses And I'm Certainly Not Saying The
Staff Are By Any Means Ineffective-No... Not At All. Most Are Highly Intelligent And Really There To Help You To Understand Their Products.

Yeah, You'll No Doubt Have An Answer Sometime Soon... Very Quick And Thoroughly Helpful Here. Thanks Very Much And Do Have A Nice Evening. Oh BTW, Nice To Meet You GrowVT. Take Care. Much Peace/Happiness. BW/Hey There Brother 1diesel1 And How Are You ?

Will a TDS and pH meter tell me all I need to know as far as how nutes are doing even without having added any (from just what was in the bag)?

Touché. Everything I’ve read says the same but I have not found any comments on using 1, 2 or all 3 (from any vendor). Is it worth the extra $$.

GGnome - any thoughts on needing all the trio?

Sorry to take so long to get here...i suspect I can do better than $40 for food. If you would, I’m looking for suggestions on alternatives. Preferably something I can go right through bloom with.

I wud recommend flora nova grow and bloom. 1 is for veg and 1 for bloom. Simple and very cost effective.

  18. I had the issue 5 years ago. Hit up my guy at the store what the deal was. The rep told him they had been having some issues recently but had got it under control. Sounds like it was a bad batch.
