Filters On Passive Intakes

How important do you guys think good filters are for passive intakes? When making passive intakes I notice a lot of filters will slow down air movement dramatically. Has anyone found filters that work or is panty hose level filtration the best we can do generally?

Anything filtering will change airflow. Bigger fan? And if tent it will suck walls in more

I just run the screen on the tent I filter exhaust hole since I push through filter outside tent. Without filter the dank clogs the pores of the filter.
