First Indoor Grow

Just about to flower and i notice what looks like chew marks on leaves and what almost looks like slime but its dry like snakes shedded skin. Kinda thought thrips but not really sure. Anybody seen anything like it?

Do you have a jewelers loupe or a USB microscope? You need to get in close to see if there are bugs. I have seen some deformed leaves and twisted deformed new growth like that with thrips but never saw whole pieces of leaves chewed off Thrips and other sucking insects usually leave brown spots on leaves.

On the second pic looks like filaments at the base of the leaves, guessing spider mites. Flip leaves and examine the backs with a small scope.

Spider mites would be my guess as well. Let us know what you find out.
