Hello From Canada

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourself' started by Shane0022, Nov 10, 2018.

  1. Hello, I’m very new to growing and going to be taking horticulture in college very soon as I’ve grown passionate about growing marijuana over the course of my teens and adulthood. I often read posts from people for tips and advice on the basics for growing great medicine as I suffer from a few auto immune problems that I use marijuana for. Currently have 6 “girls” growing in a 4x4 tent under 600watt mh and will be switching them to flower very soon.
Any advice and tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated
    Much love from Canada

    Welcome to the Farm,
Sorry to hear about your health problems, cannabis helps with lots of things.
Your setup seems nice and plants seem well. Everyone will be happy to help as you go along.
    Happy growing.

  7. Im having a bit of trouble regulating my humidity levels. I have the fan pulling the air from inside the tent out through the duct and released directly outside with another duct from outside fed inside the tent. I have the fan on a timer only letting it run for 45 minutes while being off for 1 hour and 45 minutes to try and keep the levels around 40% humidity. When the fan is on it pulls most all of the humidity in the air right out of the tent. My fan doesn’t have a speed setting so it is on full blast as soon as it kicks in. I’ve added a small ducting fan pulling the outside air inside the tent while the fan is off and the humidity level seems to be at 41%.

I would look into getting a small humidifier. For myself I believe it would be easier than letting all that heat build up and a humidifier is pretty darn cheap.

  9. I’ve let it run now for 2 hours and I’m running 38% humidity with 27.2 degrees Celsius

Try to keep your humidity between 50-60% that would be the ultimate goal. Looks good!
