I've got a strange wrinkle on my leafs in veg, it seems to be all plants, no matter what strain. There in happy frog soil in 2 gallon grow bags, under 200w of T5 blue light. Room temp sits consistant at 73f, and the get dyno nutes every other watering. They don't have signs of burn of def., just wrinkles! does anybody have any ideas???

i think some leaf deformities can be remedied with a silica supplement, i know botanicare has one called silica blast, there are others just as good....the only other thing i can think of is that you might have salt buildup in your grow medium, that can create a hypotonic, i think that is the word, condition where osmosis operates against the plant and sucks water out of the plant....but listen there are way smarter people than i, i always feel like an amateur at this. if you cant get an answer, search the forums, its a pain sometimes, but most questions have been answered already, u just have to have time to find them.

i have had an occaisional goofy leaf, thats what i call them, but never in great numbers, one or two here and there....have you moved them or your light any, i was thinking that they if the leaf was young it might have tried to turn and grow towards the light, if the light has been moved...

they sorta look like mine do if i use the fim topping method

that is all i got....

hmmm that is odd. i've got one leaf doing the same thing on one of my flowering girls. i figured it was just a deformity. it's only the one leaf on the one plant so i haven't worried. thought about cutting it but, the way it curls it doesn't block any light to the lower bud sites so it isn't doing any harm.

Feed pH has been off for that/those particular girls. Try adjusting up or downward, just a bit, next couple of feeds and see if it straightens out. If not, a light flush may be necessary.

Thanks for the feedback

click80 had it right on the money i think, I've been adding the protekt for the winter months in case the temps drop, It recommended 1tsp gal but I flushed and started on a 1/4 tsp and everything looks to be kosher now. Tanks for all the input, i should have known it's always that one thing you change
