with help from the local worms

Worms love cardboard and coffee filters

Compost your kitchen trash and paper

Called Lasagna gardening

Here is some photos of one of the beds I did last year

First I put hardwarecloth on the bottom to keep the critters out.

Then I layered it like a lasagna

I put chicken poop in a few of the layers...then Store bought soil on top

then I Planted in it.

When I moved that planter this year(one year later) All that trash was gone!
tons of worms had eaten it.

Now im using that soil again and its working Great!

I used to do this with veggie plants and it can produce with awesome effectiveness. You must really take care to get the structure and the right composting materials in the beginning but once it is working it can be as simple as that.
