Ppm decrease question
im growing 4 autos (which are very happy) I’m using a needle drip system firstly when I do my nute mix my ppm are around 500 until I add ph down which lowers the ppm by about 100 (186ppm is my tap water) so around 400 - 450ppm after ph down. Is this normal

Secondly during the week between each water change the reservoir evaporated I need to adjust the ph but I don’t add more water because the ppm decreases, it doesn’t increase as the water becomes more concentrated. I read my ppm this morning and I’m at 180 which is less than my tap water to start.I last changed the water Tuesday I have at least 3 days before i change. Are my plants eating everything? I’ve i go higher on the nutes I’ll burn my autos thanks for any insight

First, what are you using for pH down?
Second, is that anything you add should not drop your ppm it should raise it.

Then something is not right, No way your ppms should go down adding Phosphoric acid.
This is the schedule I’m using which I have put into ml/10ltr when I test the ppm before ph down I have notably high ppm than after I stabilise the ph

I don't know if I would trust those Meters. No way by adding a PH down product is it going to lower you ec or ppm.
