Ppm Help

Ok so I’ve heard people ask PPM of water often so I bought a PPM meter and tested my water and it reads 71....... from what I’ve seen that low for vegetation. I’m giving them straight PH water. No nutrients at this time. Is this ok or do I need to do something?Thanks

yes that is low/clean water for tap/well water.what are you growing in? soil,coco,peat based,if soil what brand ?
some stuff like ffof is good for a month or more and some stuff like promix(peat based) is only good for 2 weeks maybe 3.coco needs nutes right away

Thanks for your reply. I’m using soil, 50%FFHF and 50% FFOF. Just transplanted this past Friday.

So help me understand a little here....... I need to start worrying about PPM when it’s time to add nutrients? I will start 12/12 light cycle end of this month

well thats up to you,i worry about it every day.but i use ro water at like .02 ppm so im adding shit every time i water unless im watering my organic stuff which is plain water no ph just splash n dash
