Sorry for long delayed reply. Finally back fully into the gardening again. I appreciate your feedback. When I tried it, the female hormones built up too much and they started early flowering. I went back to 18 - 6. But I also ran it too long.
I'm looking at acclimating veg plants to the big flower area and saving power while prepping them. I think I will give a WEEK (only) of GLT time and slowly lower the open vert 600s closer to the plants each day. Hopefully less shock while they embrace 4800w (instead of their T5 LED veg tent).
Since they will get flowered at 12-12 pretty quickly (maybe 10 days, maybe 5 depending on their response), the hormone build up wont hurt. Gas Lantern is definitely not a long term veg success method in my limited experience, but might be perfect for an acclimation week. Will report back.
