So i showed some pics of the brewers ive been making and was urged to post up a thread.
Here goes...
Ive seen brewers that are impeller driven, and also the vortex type brewers that are driven by the lift from an air pump. And then there is the simple air stone in a bucket. I decided on building a sort of hybrid setup that uses mainly air delivered through a wand that blows air deep into the ingredients in a tall tea bag. (with the idea being to keep the material from compacting together and becoming anaerobic) Then I have a water pump with 1 1/4" in/outs that i use to mix up anything that has settled. It is on a cycle timer and runs for 1 minute every hour. Any questions/ comments are welcome. heres some pics

Just trying to give back a little bit of info. (since I stole a lot of it from the farm in the first place)
Ill show my res/manifold setup when i get some time.
It is run by an irrigation timer and the pump is on a pressure switch.
I feed two 8k rooms on a flip-flop from one big res.

I just adjust the valve on the wand till it looks like its not too strong to blow everything out of the top of the bag.
I went a little overkill on the pumps.
I like the big bubbles to disturb the ingredients and keep everything broken up.
I feel that if all the material is well broken up and moving around there is nowhere for things to get anaerobic.

What size PVC? I made something similar, simpler, 15 gallons, using only air pressure to circulate. Also a stolen idea.

outwest
its a two inch out on the bottom of the tank reduced to inch and a quarter.
1 1/4 throughout the rest of the brewer.

the wand is 3/4 pvc
