They sure r gunna b huge.. Ur prolly gunna need 2 top um & keep topping um & try 2 keep them short & wide.. If u need clones I'd take every top as a nice clone.. When ever my plants R way 2 big I've cut them back a lot.. & when they grow back there more bushy.. Those plants r gunna b super big & killer.. Great work Ken

Yes, you can let them veg too long if you don't care for the vegging plant properly, IMO. Keep everything trimmed, top-side and bottom, and that means doing roots, too. I do a lot like MakinGoo does, just top the hell out of 'em. But, I also trim up the root ball on a regular basis, to keep things fresh.

Thanks Sea, I am hoping to put them in their beds in about 3 to 4 weeks.. (the plan was sooner.. damn reveg in the GH)
I didnt want to have to put them in bigger pots....But Im not sure if they will be ok. for that long....
So I may have to give bigger pots

I have never pruned roots:(
I dont really want to either

I have kept moms in pots for 7 years than flowered them off. Just look after them and if they get to big lolly-popping for outside is a good thing to do makes it easy to wrap copper wire around the stalks, and less low branches to get heavy with rain and touch the ground so snails and the like can climb aboard. If you feel they getting to big another thing you can do is just bend the top over and plant it, you will get another plant growing from that spot. I call them bonus buds lol.

The only thing that happens is they stall a little when you toss them in the ground because the rootmass isn't big enough to support the large canopy..takes a week or so for them to get their legs and take off

This is good news, I had a few that looked like they wild be a waste of time to bloom, but from what I'm hearing, I give them a bit of a height top n bottom and they will take off again? Cool! I'll try it.

Did you get all these going in your new greenhouse?
No all the seeds have been started inside and most have been kept inside until today :)

The GH is being lite depped..when its done, it will be filled with trees :)

Hey BrotherDave! :) Yeah...here is an update
I think I found out, you can veg too long. 3 or 4 months of veg is probably plenty. Maybe 5 months for trees. But, being an outdoor guy, I didnt really have a lot of options anyway..I started just a little too early.. Im still learning
Here are some photos of those 3 plants in the 1st post, 4 months later now.
all 3 are about 7 ft tall now

Very nice , So what happens if veg to long?
Thank Medusa :)

Well, it's probably just me..I know folks keep moms forever.. I'm not sure if i could though

I think mine stalled out and may even be root bound in those 100 gal bottomless boxes.
The soil is so full of roots that its hard to dig a hole though it with my fingers (to check moisture content)
